I know right? I've been searching for like forever on th web how the titles all work out. But this forum has the most info so I decided to ask you wizz-zez haha... I temporarily solved the problem on wikia to simply say "The Crown Prince Syndrome" is the first installment in the "Immortality for Dummies" arc.
The only way to know for sure if you actually have the seperate comic-issue's and then check inside if there's an inter-title. I actually live in the netherlands and to be honest with you guys I actually buy TPB's so because of the huge waiting time until new TPB's come out ... story-wise I've only read
Angel: After the Fall Volume 1 - 4 Spike: After the Fall
Buffy Season Eight - up until the TPB of Predators & Prey's
I'll be getting Aftermath Volume 5 + Angel: Only Human pretty soon. So what I was trying to say is I can't look inside the new issue's myself and check it.
Any word on if the issue's with Drusilla will be part of a TPB?

Any word on if the issue's with Drusilla will be part of a TPB? The Drusilla issues will be in the Vol. 6 HC (which will include issues #23-27 and POSSIBLY the Annual). I hope we get a solicit for it in the May solicitations, it's been a long time since the last HC came out.

Why does only #28 have a specific title then? Every issue of Shadow Puppets had a title, not just the first one. Grrr, why is this so unclear. Oh IDW, why must you torment me with your total inability to effectively organize a series? (To be fair, Marvel are just as bad, but I don't follow them issue-by-issue so it's not a problem.) Considering the "like this" feature has disappeared for me, I'll just quote and say "Like This." Considering Marvel gets to be so danged messy, comparing it to Marvel is not a good thing imo. Sigh.

Lol, thanks. Yeah, Marvel gets away with this because they're Marvel. ;D IDW have no excuse; the series title is Angel and there should be clear titles for each arc. Not difficult.

I agree with you, Paul and Emmie, although I only read Amazing Spider-Man and Daredevil so I'm unclear what practice you are referring to with regards to Marvel.
Then again, the Hulk has like five separate books for no apparent reason. (*not a Hulk fan*)

Interesting. I'm actually curious as to what's up with James now.

I've been enjoying Willingham more than most seem to be, though I'll admit these past few issues have not been without their flaws. This development with James has put him way up in my estimations. The cast was far too big, hopefully this will go some way to solving that problem. Also if James isn't a real angel, it can't have been the real Cordy in Aftermath, finally that has been dealt with. Retconned and never happier. I really hope this preview isn't a mislead, because it might just be the best retcon ever. Angels with wings belong in Charmed. I wasn't happy about Spike's Miraculous Dusting Leg, if Willingham is not clear on the continuity of the Buffyverse, at least he gets the tone; real Angels with wings? No no.

The title of this issue is "Letters Home: A Jamesian Interlude"
Basically, it starts out with Weathermill having a one-to-one chat with James, who is the last one that she speaks to. She states that she's saved him for last for a reason. It's also stated that Weathermill is now officially a member of Team Angel. Weathermill accuses James of not being who he says he's being because she's an expert in the field of angels. We also find out that Weathermill's career had spun 47 years, making her in her 60's. Anyways, Weathermill calls James out on his BS and he violently attacks her, throwing her out one of the room windows into the lobby floor in the Hyperion (she survives). Angel, who was peacefully reading the newspaper, gets into it with James for attacking Weathermill and gets his appendages cut off, which dust. James runs away
Angel is relaxing in his bedroom with Kate, Connor, Illyria, and the floating rock thing. Kate asks why vampire limbs dust when they're cut off when that has never happened before. The floating rock says that some new power is coming that is making vampires do things from ancient times. It's confirmed by Illyria that vampire appendages would dust if they were severed many years ago. In Angel's case, he will grow his limbs back within in a few hours.
Meanwhile James is sitting next a dead body. A woman-demon erupts from within the body and comes out, apparently having a history with James.
Also, throughout the entire issue there are letters sent back and forth from two demon siblings. The male (who I think has been using the James persona), is interested in buying Earth from his demon sister (who I think is the woman at the end of the issue). I still am unsure as to what Willingham was trying to do in this issue, but it looks like Earth supposedly belongs to the demons. Either way, the male sibling wants to start demon-breeding farms on Earth. And I think that's basically the gist of this issue
Oh, and Eddie Hope's story is basically him running into Gunn at the diner (the diner from the TV series) in present time. Eddie was aware of Vamp Gunn's antic in Hell so Eddie wants to add Gunn to his "list" attacking Gunn at the very end, setting up for a fight in a later story.

That's a panel from #32. As far as the issue... Um, I'm kinda dumbfounded. That was good. Huge improvement in the writing. Best of Willingham's stuff by miles. Well, actually, by hundreds of miles. Holy wow.

Ohhh... Sounds cool, I might start picking this up again... But what is with The Powers That Be? they always seem to have evil spies within. I also hope they bring up Jame's reasoning behind his action in ‘aftermath’ and that it was in fact a fake Cordelia. They just can’t keep double crossing her and TPTB.

Great issue, a little vague but a in a good way that makes you wanna follow what's going on. I really hope they explain the nature of this retcon bc the Angel were seen...wing s and all. It's not impossible to explain but It really will be better when they do.

Didn't we see James with wings, though? All angel-y. Sorry, I've been mildly following, so id love whoever explains his to me. Also, Weathermill is a part of Team Angel. Isn't the team big enough yet? Or has it shortened? I didn't hear Spike mentioned in any reviews, has he left yet, from the main title? Thanks, again, to whoever writes back to me!

We did indeed see James with Wings in Aftermath during the flashbacks to Hell-A and even though he has hidden them around Angel we've seen the other potentates with wings. Apparently Team Angel isn't big enough and I 'd say it has two new members if You count the Demon library. Spike is there but he was again used as a tool for random threats and nothing substantial for his character. This issue had alot of backround Narrative between James or his real name Myr which is revealed at the end and between What I can only guess is a demon who I think is on the cover for issue 36. It's alot of setup for whoever he really is.
