So... Should Gunn join Angel and Co. again?
He quit, while Angel was MIA, and said he would eventually come back to the team...
Should he? Or should he stay gone?
IMO, Gunn should stay off the team. I just really don't enjoy him. I never really have. He was interesting in AtF, Become What You Are, and Only Human, but these ongoing arcs in the Main Title haven't even referenced Only Human. He just isn't contributing to the overall story, in my eyes, at least.
Care to discuss?

Oh I disagree-Gunn is one of the most interesting characters at the mo.He became the one thing he despises the most and committed horrible acts. Now he is back to normal with all those events still filling him with guilt.
We havnt seen the one thing I think we need-a conversation between Angel and Gunn.I know at the end of #17 Angel said he forgave Gunn, but the events of Hell-A have not been resolved between them.
I want Gunn back in the group eventually.

Gunn is awesome and had arguably his best storyline/development in AtF. Considering that hasn't even been fully explored since then, means he should definitely stick around. Plus, he's one of the last original members of Team Angel around. That alone is enough for me to want him to stick around.
I'm hoping that once Mariah and Tischman take over, they will reward us with a smaller cast and deliver more intimate moments between the characters.

I clicked yes, but I only wan't him to return, if they actually use him in the storylines, otherwise keeping him in just add to the feel that too many characters are pressed into it.

Wyndam and uncannyslayer, you both make good points there. I guess I'm open to him coming back, as he is an original member, and needs to be used.

I don’t feel like Gunn really has a place in the team anymore. But I don’t want him to leave the comics. Maybe if he forms his own grew again and works with Team Angel like he did in season 1-2. Still fighting side by side.

I think it's time for Gunn to move on. His place has always been "The Muscle". Sure, Gunn stepped up to be more on the brainy side, but that's only because he used W&H resources to make him smarter. And his choice to do that was one of the many things that led to Fred's death. Team Angel has no need for a lawyer anymore, so Gunn is only good for being "The Muscle" again. But, now they have Spike, Dez, Kate, Illyria, and Connor. As for brains, assuming that Gunn still remembers all that legal mumbo-jumbo, they now have Laura who fits nicely into Wesley's former place on the team. Gunn has gone through a lot and I think he needs to seriously take a break from Team Angel. I think Gunn starting his OWN team would be beneficial for everyone.

I hope that Gunn has some good character development coming. I hope he comes back to the team. but maybe not as a full memeber. Perhaps he works with Team Angel sometimes and does his own thing other times.

It would be cool to see if Mariah and Tischman sort of retcon certain parts in the previous Arc and sort of explore how Gunn came back into the fold and any emotional stryfe he could have created at that time. The whole appearing back on the team with no explanation really irked me and i always figured they would just leave it to be mentioned at a later time.

I agree-I was not happy with how Gunn 'all of a sudden' was back in the group. After what happened in HellA we should have seen how he came back to AI

The writer(s) really made a mistake by not telling the story about how Gunn (and Illyria) came back to the group; they both went through so much during AtF, and there should have been some big moments between the characters, when the group was reunited.
I really agree with the idea that Gunn should still be part of the team, but maybe as a part time member. His presence has been so unnessecary in most of the post AtF-comics (all other than # 23, actually) and even in many episodes of Angel. AtF was the perfect catalyst for his development and usefullness as a character, and then NOTHING happened afterwards...

I think they should make a one-shot issue that would bridge the gap between "Boys and their Toys" and "Only Human"
