I can't really add too much cause everyone has already read my mind and posted about the brilliance that is this special issue.
So all I really want to say is this...if you haven't read this, then go out and buy it. If you can afford it, then beg, borrow or sneak a peak when the clerk isn't looking. It's so worth it. I loved it so much and I thought it was a beautiful tribute from cover to cover.

Anyone else think John Byrne should be doing the main title? I know the current arcs are leading up to something, but afterwards... John Byrne! Please! I love his art. Especially the way he draws Lorne and Illyria. Groo too! And Cordelia(Dragon)! Angel looks pretty good, but his face is a bit off. John Byrne'd be great on a arc.

Finally got a hold of this issue today and read it. I quite loved it actually. I loved Lorne's voice-over and his humour, but I loved Mark Lutz's tribute at the end the most, as well as the photos. It really is a shame Andy passed away, but at least we have this as a tribute

Are there any plans to collect this in a trade or HC? It's only 34 pages long and while I understand it's a special issue, it does seem to be an essential addition to the main title. The Last Angel in Hell annual was collected, so I don't see why this can't be either.

The Last Angel in Hell annual was collected, so I don't see why this can't be either. Doubt it, for a couple of reasons: a) a portion of the sales of the issue are going to charity b) Last Angel in Hell was directly related to the events of After the Fall and its (pardon the pun) fallout. This book is not so much attached to anything regarding the story.

Yeah, I doubt it will be in a collected edition. That's why I bought the issue. It's such a nice comic too. I suggest it to any Angel fan. Probably the best Angel comic recently.
