Glad to hear you like it here, Scar! And M.U.M. forgot to mention that your blanket is really cute. Seems a lot easier than knitting and felting actually. Sorry you had a crappy day, PJ. It sounds absolutely horrible, but good to hear you got something positive out of the trip and you're home safe. A little karma to welcome you back. Now going out for some Mexican food with my college bestie.

I had a perfectly lovely day, watching Big Bang Theory and rereading one of my favorite books for the nth time. Then my parents had to come home and ruin it by yelling at me for being unproductive.
Isn't that what summer is about though?

A "I logged out for THIS?" t-shirt sounds cool. Sounds spunky and very fitting for the people ho knows me. Where can I get one? ******** I'm sad because I just decided to cancel the Electrik Tiki Spike statue. I have a 180 USD mastercard debt, a student loan that will end up costing me over 19 000, and after making that post of things I want to do or get in life in the Bucket List thread, I realize that this item, with the VAT and shipping and taxes, plus the 130 USD for the item, would cost me more than a tattoo and a course in scuba diving, parachuting, canoeing and maybe even more than a plane ticket to London and back. I have to stop spending money on things that will look good on shelves, and start living. But man, this is hard. I want that damn statue... But considering that I will probably get almost as happy looking at 12£ mini customs on my shelf as that tiki, that's the right thing to do. Yep. It is. I'm canceling right now. Yep... Soon... Or! Or! Or! You could add "Have an awesome Buffy figure collection" to your Bucket List. Watching Wipeout right now, and flipping between cracking up and going "ouch!" "Oh!" and other that had to hurt exclamations

Just got back from getting my hair cut. It's gone from being down to my butt to several inches past my shoulders. My head feels so much lighter! I got it thinned out too. Very happy with the results. Hope everyone is doing well today.

Wow. Did you donate your hair to locks of love or anything?
Also, what exactly is involved in getting your hair thinned? My hair is thick to the point of being a nuisance, but this is only like.. the second time I've heard of it.

^^ I have ridiculously thick hair. I always end up breaking hair ties or having to use four or five just to get it into a ponytail.
They thin it out by putting in long layers, it makes it a little more manageable.

^^You wake up before I go to bed o.0 AngelFaith, that sounds like craziness! I can't imagine hair that thick (and I have a giant afro when my hair's wet so that's saying a lot), but I'm sure it looked nice either way

I'm in such a bad mood today that not even a fudgsicle was able to make me feel better. I think I'm just gonna go lie on the floor, listen to Lady GaGa and suck my thumb.

Sorry to hear you're feeling crappy, my Darling Husband. I hope things perk up for you. I'm not feeling so great myself on account of my ex who keeps jerking me around. Unintentionally (or at least I think it is) but it doesn't make a difference.

Had dinner out at a small Chinese restaurants with a few workmates as a send-off. Quite nice though, but I ended up getting full and not finishing my dinner, but at least I got to take it home. And also held my friend's baby daughter for about ten minutes and she didn't cry until after ten minutes, so that's a new record for me (yes!)

My hair used to be pretty much an afro, then I had it chemically straightened and it's so much easier to look after now. And because it made it easier to look after I managed to stop my hair from going back to it's afro-state (it was about two years ago I had it done). I thought I'd just offer that as people were talking about hair lol.

And because it made it easier to look after I managed to stop my hair from going back to it's afro-state (it was about two years ago I had it done). I thought I'd just offer that as people were talking about hair lol. My hair is strong. And an afro. So while I do chemically relax it, every month it goes back to what it was before... Also - Today is Birthday Party. Not my Birthday which on Sunday, but the party! Super-excited....
