Bring It On - Silly, fun, entertaining and sometimes stupid movie. I like it, I was really impressed with the cheerleading routines. Good movie. 7/10

Night of the Demons (Remake) - OMG, I was so damn bored. There were very few bright spots and what few bright spots there were they weren't very long. I liked that they got at least one of the actresses (couldn't tell if there was more than the one) from the original movie but her scene was minor and just a quick callback to the first. I liked how the survivor tricked the demons. I also liked when one character (I don't remember any of these people's names except Angela's) paint balled an extra who was being mean to kids and stealing their candy. However like I said before these few bright spots were short and probably totaled a minute maybe a minute and a half of the whole film. Now onto the things I hated/mildly disliked. Edward Furlong, the only role I've ever liked him in was Terminator 2 and this movie hasn't changed that opinion. There was nothing, I mean nothing scary about this movie besides the acting. Granted the acting in the original wasn't stellar either but at least I'm still creeped out and scared by parts and I liked some of the characters even the jerky ones had a sort of likable quality. With the remake I was rolling my eyes and saying to myself 'was I supposed to jump at that?' or 'that was scary?' There was one scene that creeped me out but it wasn't because it was scary it was because I have this thing about broken bones that are outside the skin. The house wasn't scary, there was no tension about what would happen next, I didn't give a crap about the characters and whether they lived or died, there was one guy who sliced himself in the leg and would conveniently forget that he was injured two minutes later and then later he'd remember he was hurt again. Overall I hated this movie. I'm going to go watch the original and wash this bad taste out of my mouth. 2/10

Night of the Demons (Original) – Love this movie. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine. The opening credits are so cool; the soundtrack for the opening is creepy and catchy too. Stooge is a jerk but sometimes I kinda like him. I really liked Max, Frannie, Rodger (sometimes anyway), and Angela. I love Sal, I have no idea why Judy was with Jay. In one scene she and Jay are dancing and Suzanne dances passed him and he goes to dance with her. Jackass.
Judy clearly does not want to be at the party. I’m the kind of girl who if I had a bad feeling like she does or that bad of a reaction to being there and no one was willing to drive me home or at least to a store where I could use a pay phone to call someone to pick me up, I would be the first person walking my butt home.
The house the party is in is scary and out in the middle of nowhere and it comes with an equally scary story. I certainly wouldn’t want to be there at night. The demon makeup is so freaky and I would not want to meet that anywhere, day or night. The ending with the husband and wife was a good way to end the movie.
I love this movie. It’s not fantastic filmmaking and the acting is so-so but it’s a fun movie. 7.5/10

Paranormal Activity 2! it was sooooo much better then the first, and sooo much scarier. It was really a surprise because i thought it would screw up the first one.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (remake) - Even through TTCM series is my least favorite horror series I still enjoy this remake...actually it's my favorite of the TTCM series. I wish the editors/director/whoever kept the information of Erin being pregnant in the final cut though. 7/10

Paranormal Activity 2 - Holy crap this scared me and it was awesome. I love the first one and the first one scared me a lot. This one scared me just a little bit more. I loved how seemlessly this one weaved in with the first. This movie I may see a second time in theaters and I've only done that with 2 other movies in my life. So damn good. 10/10

Inglorious Basterds. I still can't decide whether or not I liked it.
The direction was really good and I loved that the majority of the film is spoken in German and French (most war movies opt to cop-out with "accented" English), but there was something lacking that I can't quite put my finger on. It was missing the "wow" factor that most of Tarantino's films have.
That being said, I was really impressed with Melanie Laurent's performance. Powerful stuff.

^ I just saw Paranormal Activity 2 as well. I'm having trouble sleeping, it kinda sucks.. The scene where the mom is in the kitchen and all the cupboards bust open at the same time scared me so much. My heart seriously skipped a beat.

Lady Snowblood, a japanese film from 1973, clearly an inspiration for Tarantino's Kill Bill - check it out! If you liked Kill Bill, you will love Lady Snowblood!

Paranormal activity because I went to see the second one yesterday without having ever seen the first one, so I rented it. The second one was easier to make fun of, but they are equally creepy toward the endings.

Underworld: Rise of the Lycans - This was a really good movie. I think this one is the best of the 3 Underworld movies.
