Oh so many to choose from. It could easily be any of the ones mentioned so far. But I will have to go with Dopplegangland as I love that episode. Ally Hannigan is simply brilliant in it.
But Band Candy, Tabula Rasa and Pangs come pretty close.

I always forget about something blue; it can get forgotten amongst the rest of season 4! I actually thought S4 was pretty good. I rate season 4 above 6 and 7  Season 4 had good episodes, just some of the story lines were dodgey. |

^I agree, I get why the overall arc didn't really work, but it is one of the best seasons for stand alones. Fear Itself, Something Blue, Hush, The Yoko Factor (mainly for the fighting), not to mention many others.
The Yoko Factor is actually one of the episodes I always remember as really funny, but just for the fight with the scoobies, that was super entertaining.

Him. That episode was good, especially when you see Buffy in the back round with a rocket launcher firing toward principal wood. Hahaha that was funny.
