NEWS PEOPLE!!! This website, buffyversecomics.blogspot.com/, has posted a blog saying that it will be able to post some exciting news about season 8 tomorrow. Now I'm thinking this is could be a sneak peek at issue 10 but it could be something else. I can't wait to see Cliff Richards art again to see how he has improved it at all, as well as to see it alongside Andy Owens, and Dave Stewart on his last issue of Buffy before Michelle Madsen comes in on colours.

This looks set to be one of the best issues of the series so far with all the Scooby interaction. Although I was happy to see Cliff Richards back, his Willow rendition is not so good. Buffy is down to the tee I think, same with Xander, Dawn and Daniel Craig!

From the looks of the preview, this is going to be one of the best issues yet, the Buffy homour is perfect. I can so imagine that on the television! I loved Buffy's dialogue. "That's better, not better, less better" Oh goodness, thats funny. So Buffy. I really love Cliff Richards art, his Willow is good in my opinion, we've only seen her from awkward angles so we haven't seen her drawn in a normal perspective yet. I can't wait for this issue.

The book Buffy has on the beach says Lestat. It's apperently a vampire: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LestatAnd no, I have never read a single Anne Rice novel, so I don't know who he is.

I think the Willow likeness is one of the best yet. In one shot I was actually startled by how much it looked like Aly. I can so agree with Buffy. Daniel Craig is SOME kinda hot, especially in those blue trunks hahaha. Thanks Joss for giving us some male eye-candy!!! Certainly naked Angel AND naked Spike in the same frame counted for something! Plus, Xander seems a lot buffer than he should probably be.

He wore similar blue swim trunks in 007: Casino Royale. Buffy has great taste...hahaha Buffy's taste in men is even more impeccable than her punning skills. I want to see some punning in this issue or next, she usually does her best when she fights the Big Bads so maybe issue 12.

Did anyone else think that the sand looked more like dried dead grass than sand?

the plot of this issue seems like its gonna be ace and i love the speech.
Im not to fond of cliff richards art though. He has good likenesses and stuff and I enjoyed his art with the old run of buffy comics but season 8 is something different and new to the usual buffy comics and although his likenesses seem better than jeantys the general look of the art to me just seems a bit bland and drained.
I dont hate it or anything and i know a lot complain about jeanty but i feel in a way like its a bit of a step down from this being this huge season 8 comic run to a simple out of canon buffy comic...I know my thoughts make no sense lol but Id prefer it if jeanty stayed but obviously hes gotta have a break at some point.

Actually I'm not too fond of the preview pages... I was hoping for some more emotional dreamsequences. Since the issue is supposed to reflect on Buffy's and Willow's past, I would love to see some scenes with Joyce and Tara. I just found the Daniel Craig scene a little lame... And as much as I dislike Kennedy, I would really like to know what happened between her and Willow. Anyway, I can't wait for the issue . The dialogue is captured really well.

I really think this issue is going to start all light hearted and funny (cue Daniel Craig sexual fantasies) and then turn very dark and poignant, I mean from what we've been told by Scott Allie, he thinks this issue will make many people cry and the part where a character is still feels guilt over something that happened years ago (Willow?). It sounds like a very promising issue.
