Wonder what the deal is that they pushed it back an extra day? I'm used to getting the new shipments in a day later when there's a holiday, but now two days late? Last week's shipment did the same thing here.

Maybe it could be Thursday, but my local comic shop said Friday. Maybe it doesn't apply to all.

I'm not positive, but I think my store had a sign on the door saying thursady. Actually, now that I think about it, that may be because we're under construction and not because of the holiday at all. Also, it may have been for last week.

(Hope you all had a good new years and xmas) I think it could be coming out Friday for us in the UK too or Saturday at the best. Normally we get them like a day after them. Well so my comic book store guy said. Should think it would be Friday though

I managed to get my copy today, so it's definately out now in the UK. Only now that I've logged in do I realise that saying as much is completely useless, since most comic shops will have closed by now. Ah, well...
I really enjoyed this issue, my favourite so far. I think the comic has been too much about plot and intruige and introducing an overwhelming amount of new characters, so it was nice to get some backstory, and to have Joss writing the core Scoobies. I think cutting to Willow for the 'end of magic' line confirms what a lot of people have been saying about Twilight, and it's going to be interesting to see how loyalties shift as the arc continues. Very interested in Buffy's stealing to fund the Slayerettes, too. I don't think we've ever really seen Buffy as morally corrupt, and it's a very interesting place to take the hero. Especially since she doesn't seem to care all that much.
My only gripe with Kennedy being back is the fact that she was making an issue over Willow being 'ashamed' of her and not taking her to see Buffy. Didn't she live in Buffy's house for six months? My boyfriend pointed out that it's in Kennedy's character to be irrational, though, so I'm not losing sleep over it. I've been very vocal about Tara not being brought back within the comics, but it made my little fanboy heart warm to see her referred to here.
The art was a massive improvement, too. I wish Cliff Richards was the full-time penciller, all told. It's not about likeness to the actors, and more about likeness to actual human beings, rather than melon-headed, bug-eyed freaks that I'd be scared to bump into in a dark alley. Georges fails at drawings.

It should be out tomorrow. That's the one thing about holidays...comics are delayed...well everything's delayed.
Anyway I am most anticipating this issue. I really hope we get some good stuff in it!!

I picked it up this morning... strange how it came out earlier in the UK this month!
I enjoyed it, mostly back story, but lovely to see the scoobies interacting - Buffy with willow and xander with dawn
News on willow and Kennedy and a flashback that will please Tara fans (and no, she's not back, if you haven't read it yet)
And another reference to Buffy being afraid of the dark (like her dream in #2), so this is beginning to look significant - Twilight, darkness, end of magic etc etc.
We learn how and why Buffy managed to piss off the military / establishment as well and we get an interesting look into the future....poor Buffy!!!!!

God with all the talking in this issue, this could equal to one episode in itself. I was shocked at the huge amount of text and was getting quite confused whilst reading to to it spiralling from everywhere. The artwork is good, not excellent but Cliff's Kennedy likeness is great!!! Great storyline and an overall good comic. I'd give it a 7 out of 10!

Overall, I thought it was a good issue. Although, I am confused about some of it. We got a lot of new informations which is great. Dawn slept with Kenny's roommate whihc caused Kenny to put a spell on Dawn to make her giant, Willow has been keeping Kennedy away from Buffy in fear that she'll get killed like Tara was. Which is understandable because Willow must of felt what it would have been like to lose Kennedy when she mystically died. Buffy STEALING? tut tut. VERY out of character for Buffy. Explains why the military want her out of the picture. I liked Sephrilian. He was an Old One. Robin didn't remember when the cottage exploded. Does this mean that alternate reality has been diestroyed? And seeing Buffy and Willow walk off in different directions at the end was really sad. A few things I need cleared up though: 1.) What was the time-loop thing about. REALLY confused me. Like when Buffy says "I thought you hadn't met her" and Willow says "we do later on". EH? 2.) What was that thing that Buffy and Willow flew over at the beginning? A factory? And how did they land at the countryside a few seconds later? Is it part of the time loop thing/alternate reality thing? And also what was with all the paper? 3.) Wasn't Buffy commiting a serious crime whilst robbing that bank? And what did she mean it was all insured? And Willow with that green demon thing? I don't get it. Did she have an affair on the mystical plane? 4.) Also, when Robin talks about rescuing the prince. Who's the prince? Fantastic issue, although it does confuse me a bit. I'll read it again and see if I understand it any better.

I was expecting this issue to be Brilliant. But i didn't like it so much. It was good but not mega.
I didn't like the coloring on it. Although the rest of the art work was good the coloring annoyed me at times.
I don't think Buffy stealing was that bad i mean. How else will they get the money for all the hi-tech stuff they got and to put a roof over the slayers heads? Plus like Buffy said the bank was insured so they would get the money back. No harm done i think.
I was like omg to Willow i cant believe she was thinking like that about Buffy. Dose this mean shes thinks she should have just left Buffy dead? I cant see how she can blame Buffy for this. Or fear its because of Buffy. I mean Willow brought her back so really its her fault Tara died then not Buffy's. I think shes wrong about that.
It was mega sad at the end when they walk of in different ways. And OMG Willows going to betray Buffy. Whys everyone turning against Buffy. During season 7 and 8 everyone seems to betray, doubt or not believe Buffy. I mean shes sorta saved there butts so much and she doesn't even get a retirement.
