Good Girls Gone Bad:Cordy or Willow

Just curious as to which you guys think had the better performance and more interesting path to evil doing.

I don't like either, but if you forced me to make a choice i'd go with Willow. At least the story developed the character and had ramifications. Evil Cordy wasn't Cordy and might as well have never happened in terms of how it effected her in "You're Welcome." Plus Charisma's performance as Skrulldelia was pretty wooden I think. You could tell her heart wasn't in it at all.

I loved evil Cordy. I like Dark Willow well enough, but I thought Charisma was brilliant. It took a lot of planning and script work to make sure that everything Cordelia said from "Spin the Bottle" on worked towards the eventual reveal that she was the Beastmaster. I loved ever second of it.

Why isn't Illyria on that list?

Does Illyria really qualify? She was only evil for an episode or two.

Not really a contest. Willow made sense from a story point of view, her character's progression to evil really made a kind of painful sense and they'd spent almost two years building up to it. Alyson Hannigan also gave a great (if not campy at times) performance.

Cordelia wasn't really Cordy so no character progression there, it was pretty much cooked up as a mid-season replacement villain and Charisma's performance was awful.

Because Fred turning into Illyria was a little different.At least to me. She was hollowed out and her soul was destroyed.
Cordy had stated in"Your Welcome" that she knew what was happening but it was like someone else was behind the wheel.
Willow was only taken over by her own rage really and got high off od magic.
I do love Illyria.Wish we could have seen more of her in general.

Well yeah... but talking about wanting to murder someone is a tad more sinister then cooing about your baby and trying to keep Connor in line by calling him a father...

Although Cordelia's turn to evil was alittle more unexpected, I think Willow's was definatly more intersting. I mean you get Cordelia running around stabbing people and manipulated Angelus and Conner, but with Willow, she became an unstoppable force of rage and evil. And I mean when Cordelia went evil, It was just Jasmine controlling her, but when Willow turned, it was her the entire time. I mean the best part about it is that for so long it would hint that Willow was going alittle overboard on the magic, but I never expected it to go THAT overboard lol. So yeah, I perfer Willow's evilness over Cordy's.

i went Cordy just because Cordy's great and i love the shot where they all catch her out and then Connor comes to her rescue and as her and Connor are running off the gives angel this look i love that scene...dont know why lol also bad willow for me was not my fave she was just to nice and perfect before.. and i was to upset about tara to pay real attention i think a cried for about half an hour..

I never really cared for Cordy to begin with, so I just didn't care that much when she turned evil.

there's no comparison. Dark Willow was SOOOOOO much better than evil Cordy.
