Okay, I saw that some of us did not like Kate. I like her a lot. She was one of my favorite characters. Yes, I know, shocking. xD I see that she is back in Angel : After the Fall. I worry that they will not show her again though. I mean, they leave her out of season 3,4, and 5, and just bring her back for a flashback in the comics. We never even saw what happened between all of the seasons with her. But tell me, do you like her?

I had to crash the party and be the first person to vote "no"!! She just never appealed to me or interested me very much at all.

Kate is one of my favorite characters, she was one of my favorite things about Seasons 1 and 2. The thing I loved most about her character was how she was strong on the outside, but so weak and unstable on the inside. Kate was also one of the best developed characters in Season 1, she was way more developed than Cordelia, Wesley or Doyle, IMO. The scene in Reprise when she is fired breaks my heart, Elisabeth was fantastic! I was more than happy to see her again in After the Fall.

I actually really liked how Kate developed as a character. The duality of her relationship with Angel, how she despised the demon in him, but still respected the work he did, how she was torn trying to do things the right way, and yet resorting to having Angel help (i.e. illegally) to get the job done. She was a conflicted character, and added some tension in the earlier seasons, when Wolfram and Hart weren't quite as prominent. However... I guess her departure was less than memorable, as although I'm in the process of rewatching the entire Angel series, I can't quite remember her final scene... I think it had something to do with telling Angel that they weren't quite alone (i.e. The PTB were with them) as she had never invited Angel into her apartment, and yet he was able to enter with no problem to save her. I was pleasantly surprised when she was the mystery female (kudos to Brian Lynch for coming up with someone that nobody thought of), and I thought her short bit was well-done.

I can't say she was my favorite out of all the characters that came and went on Angel, but I really did like her and thought the idea of having a cop around added a nice compliment to all the drama with Angel vs Wolfram & Hart. So I went with yes, cause I missed her.

I can't really say yes or no. There were times whenn I liked her, and others when I didn't. So, I'm really torn on this one...

I thought she was an excellent character...but I hated how she gave Angel such a hard time. So no, I didn't mind not seeing her...but I missed the greatness that was her development and character in general.

Didn't think much of her the first time I watched the show. I found I grew very fond of her after repeat viewings though, just as I did with Connor.
She's probably one of my favourite Buffy-verse female characters.

I have always enjoyed Kate's character. Her relationship with Angel is always exciting to watch, and she has some great development as well for just a recurring character.

I like Kate except for when she gets all over dramatic like she did with angel telling him she knows all about what he's done as anglus and the way she dealt with things that were more para than normal was quite annoying too but her actually character i like

She was not the most interesting of characters, since her storyline was a bit repetitive IMO, but I think there is more that they could've done with her.

I really liked Kate though she did annoy me a bit when she thought Angel was evil, I was thinking "no foool, he's got a soul"- but obviously her reaction was understandable. I also thought her relationship with her Dad was interesting and really devestating, I really sympathised with her for that

Hated her in season one, but in season 2, I understood her better, and I missed her after season 2.
She's a good girl who acted like a bitch because of her father and her fathers death. Hopefully, she has evolved. i have a feeling we wont see more of her in After the fall, but I hope so.

Yes, Yes, Yes I loved Kate Lockley the scen from season 1 "Sense and Sensitivity" when she is crying to her dad about their terrible father/daughter realtionship. I still feel for her even after seeing that episode more times than I can honestly remember. Her character got even better in season two with the whole "you wanna be enemies...try me"!! alos she was hot in the episode witht he zombie cops in season 2 when wes gets shot. The Angel had the epiphany and she just never turned up again and Angel never even mentioned her again. I did always hope to see her in season 5/Wolfram and Hart thing what with it being a law firm and Kate being a cop but I guess judging by After The Fall she was out learning to be all bad ass.

Goddess no! I never liked her. I found her dislike for Angel because he's a vampire really annoying. I hated how she never really gave him a chance to show her that he really is a good guy. All she ever did was remind him that he's not of the world. She was such a bitch to him when he tried to save her from the apprentice of his, back in his Angelus days. Don't like her character at all. Bleugh.

I didn't like Kate, for some reason her character just didn't appeal to me. I know its good to have some realism, like a character whose a cop, but I found it hard to like her.
