I'm not sure that Willow and Kennedy splitting up would be enough to mess with our expectations.
I'm still leaning toward a brutal split between Buffy and Willow

That four-issue story is going to seriously mess with expectations about where this is all going. Well I'd say the Drusilla fake-out was the first significant way of "Messing With Our Expectations". |
