How did you feel about Amy and Warren?

I know when Warren returned in The Long Way Home there was much controversy and Joss actually made an apology about it (or so I've heard).

So, what was your reaction to Amy and Warren coming back?

I didn't really mind it seeing as how there was a pay-off and it really wasn't for the shock-factor like it was in The Long Way Home. I liked that Warren made the missile thing and I liked that AMY was back.

So basically it was alright. I was glad that it answered my question as to if Amy and Warren were dead or not after issue four.

Please post thoughts on what you chose and why you chose it.

I don't know if I like the idea of Warren and Amy being on board with killing so many people. I know Warren is evil, and I guess Amy is too (more or less), but it just seems like a lot to ask of them so soon. I'm glad they returned, but I'm not convinced that Warren, and especially Amy would really want to help Twilight kill so many people.

It was cool to see them again. I toughed they were forgotten. I'm also not sure that I like the idea of Amy the mass murderer. I'd like to see her go good and end up with Willow ( I know - crazy but I can still dream).

Eh...i wasn't a fan when Warren first came back and i'm still not. I honestly think they could do without Warren, but I liked that Amy and Twilight appeared - though they have short roles.

It was great and unexpected. Which is what Joss is all about.
Did he really apologies for it??
I don't know why people don't see them being able to kill lots of people... they have been trapped in SunnyD for a few months and all both had major run ins with Buffy and the gang soo it would pretty much mess them up right?
Also did i miss something with them killing lots of people? When did they do or talk about that???

I liked it. I love Amy, she's a great character, she's pretty much the Faith of Willow's life. The wrong path taken, foil character, so yeah, it's great to see her. I wish she and Willow would interact more. I have a vision of Amy trying to distract/disorient Willow in a battle and saying something about eating Tara's body, they had to survive off something, right? Seeing a skinless guy walking around is pretty damn sweet as well. They're probably my favorite baddies of season 8 so far. Also, Amy turning good? No thanks. It's best to see her bad, and there's too many redemption stories IMO (Angel, Anya, Willow, Faith, Andrew, so on, so forth). I also think it was best to ease in the new season with familiar baddies. I loved the cliff hangers of "Who's Amy's boyfriend?".

I can easily see Warren killing a load of people. He'd see it as his arrival to supervillain. Besides he has no conscience that I've ever witnessed so yeah it fits.

Amy on the otherhand, that progression to mass murderer surprises me a bit. Her foray into evil seems more fixated on Willow. But I guess she's just following Warren's "liquid evil" behavior.

As for Joss apologizing for Warren's return, I read he said something like "I forgot, OK!?!?"

I was hoping we'd see both of them again, well.... Amy. It was pretty obvious they wouldn't be gone forever and when we did, I wanted Joss to fix the continuity problem, maybe by having a little joke about Warren being dead for a second. It could of easily been done, and I think it would quell a lot of the fussing, or at least mine.

goodto FINALLY see them again but I don;t think it was really needed and I would have rathered two extra pages of Fray/Buffy than them.

I liked the return. It was short, but long enough to confirm that they are in fact working with Twilight. I'd like to see Twilight plot a showdown between Willow & Kennedy Vs. Amy & Warren. That would be interesting.

I liked there little cameo in TOYL it was cool to see they did not just die out. Made me cringe when Amy called him Sweetie *shudders*

As for Amy killing people = she's like Willow was in Season 6, remember? Except Amy didn't have people to hold her down and get her sober. Amy is still festering with dark magic and she has been making conscious efforts to do bad things, with no regret. I can totally see her as a mass murderer. Not so much for the kills, but so she can affect Willow. She wants to out-witch Willow, IMO.

I don't think that it's all down to the dark magic in Amy, otherwise the gang would try to help her like they did with Willow. I think that she's just a bitch turned badass after being stuck down under Sunnydale for a year and a half going insane.

I loved their return. I wasn't for Warren coming back, but now that he is I'm glad they're doing something with him and Amy.

I kinda feel like Amy returning was a great idea cuz she didn't get a whole lot of time on the show. And he character was great. Warren on the other hand was probably not the best idea. But at the same time, It might forshadow what happens (potentially) in issue 19. That bringing back one of Dark Willow's victims is forshadowing the return of Dark Willow, herself.

Myreaxtion towards their comeback was neutral, they were ok but nothing out of the ordinary. Now, what made me kinda mad was the rather poor explanation about amy's succesful attempt at rescuing Warren,imean she was infront of dark willow the most powerful witch in the US. On the other hand i loved how Joss dealt with Will's inner sanctuary when Warren was trying to lobotomize her, it was briliant and i think it will be used later on this season somehow..
