So in the c-box, Kim and I were having an argument. In the second to last song in Act III, there's a line in the song that goes like so. "Look at these people amazing how _______ show up for the slaughter!" I said it was 'sheeple show up for the slaughter' and she said it was 'sheep will show up for the slaughter'. So I thought- hm, why not get everyone else's opinions? Vote away! Definition of sheeple: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheeple

Got to go with Kim.
Sheep will or Sheep'll just works better in the sentence. Plus "Sheeple" hasn't been excepted by Webster's as an actual word and it isn't a very common term.

How did one come up with Sheeple. Can you give me your definition? lol The best definition you can find is at the wiki link at the top of this thread. There is a sheeple [dot] net but that wasn't very helpful.

OF COURSE the CC would say "sheep will", that's a computer doing it (or a very quick person) going by accepted nouns (accepted by such dictionaries as Webster, etc.) But the real question is what did the writers write? What did they put down on paper? Honestly, when I first saw pt. 3, I thought it was "sheep will" too. But after seeing this whole thread, Sheeple is SO MUCH FUNNIER. It's quirky. Fresh. New. It fits Dr. Horrible completely (especially considering the circumstances that lead to Dr. Horrible). I wonder how so many of you are so quick to dismiss the term. How did one come up with Sheeple. Can you give me your definition? lol According to the lesser established dictionary, MacMillan English Dictionary, Sheeple is defined as: Although the term may not be so popular (lol) as to be included in Merriam-Webster (or the CC no doubt), it does appear to be so established as to not be so easily dismissed as it has so far.

dudes, its sheep will but it didn't fit so it's now a contraction "Sheep'll". Grammatically speaking it doesn't make sense if its sheeple and I just don't think they would make that distinction since it means the same thing either way.

LMAO, this thread is so old. Good times, good times. I still like sheeple better, though, even if it isn't the official lyric.

So old, indeed! But I'm going with "sheeple" because it is indeed an obscure word that perfectly fits the context of the line.
