only have a 360 but I can appreciate the fun a wii version would be
would be great if they had a lot of playable characters and then all the stories could weave together into one story
i'd like to see how they would do a Xander/Zeppoesque line

What about a video game based on the Buffy/Fray universe. Each slayer gets sucked into eachothers world. Buffy in Fray's vise versa. That'd be cool, although I don't know how they'd do it.
Oh, and I also rekon they should do an ALL SEASONS video game coz I'd so love to play a level from the episode "the Gift". It'd be awesome!

The 360 please. Great graphics and a hopeful online multiplayer on 360 would be great. Seing as the first game was out on xbox im hoping if there was a new one they would go for xbox again I have a wii also but I would prefere Buffy to be a great game rather than a fun game.

I have both a Wii and an Xbox 360, so i'm all for any game and every game!
If they did one, though, i hope they could get at least the majority of the cast to do voices. they have a decent SMG imitator from the old video games, but Willow on chaos bleeds was awful. the ideal would be to get everyone to do their voices, and the writers to do the storyline, and Jo and Georges to do the art.

Yep the Willow was AWFULL on chaos bleeds! and it was stupid having the same voice actress for Buffy and Anya!

I just wish that they could get SMG's voice for something, maybe outtakes from the show? There's enough space out there, I would think.
I can't even put into words how much I would love having a Buffy Wii game. I think it'd be the best idea, really. You could stake and sword fight (like in Becoming) or use the Scythe or anything at all, really. I think it'd be cool to work through the seasons or be able to unlock S8, maybe special levels that would coincide with trips to LA? Super.
Is there any news on the game development, though?

The Wii would be pretty amazing, but imagine it on PS3 or 360 in it's high definition glory! Haha.
What ever happened to that MMO game they were going to make?

I just picked up the original Xbox game and finally finished it on hard over the weekend. That is one great game, and I'm surprised it hasn't been re-made yet. They really ought to iron out just a couple glitches and port this to a portable system or release it on Xbox Live. Game updates are done all the time now, and this is a real classic. A re-make of Chaos Bleeds would be cool too if they could get it to handle as well as the first game. The fighting just wasn't as good.

I don't think anything will ever come of that. They were working on the Firefly one for years before it was confirmed as cancelled, and out of that the Buffy one was announced. Almost another year and no news still, with the planned beta time long past (supposed to be late '08 or early '09). If you check out the website of the company making it (Multiverse) it's clear that they're a small operation with not much cash or even a revenue stream planned for their stuff.

Well i would like a 360 game so it would be like the classics that were so popular but i think maybe all three. Not all people have a wii or xbox or ps3 they might just have one of them.

A PS3 game with support for the PlayStation Motion Controller (a.k.a. "The Sphere") would be amazing. Maybe set in between seasons seven and eight. Probably closer to eight, almost a prequel of sorts. It's would be fairly recent in the timeline (a game set in their high school days would be ridiculous at this point, IMO), but it has a large enough gap that a relatively epic story can be told without it seeming weird that the gang doesn't mention it in the series (Chaos Bleeds was supposed to be set between episodes seventeen and eighteen of season five. It just doesn't mesh well.). One for the Wii would also be cool, but from what I've seen and heard about the PSMC I get the idea that it has comparable motion sensing abilities, but superior pointer controls. The added space from blu-ray and the HD graphics that come along with the PS3 would obviously benefit the game, but I wouldn't mind an excuse to dust of my Wii. I was thinking that aside from being a third person action game, it would be nice to have a few light RPG elements. IMO, it should be over the shoulder for using the crossbow (assuming the game includes crossbows). Aside from providing a better view it'll also give more room for pointer controls. Ooo... Got an idea. How about a full-fledged action-RPG where you play as a new Slayer. I would like to play as Buffy as much as the next guy, but having playing as one of the new slayers would fit an RPG better, allow you to change her appearance, skills, weapons, clothing, etc. without conflicting with Buffy's appearance and skills she already has. I think at one point in season eight they mention slayer mystic or something, so maybe there'd be other options besides swords, stakes, and crossbows. Does anyone have ideas for villains? They could be a pre-existing character or you could make one up.
