I thought it'd be a good idea to have a Character Directory for reference since everything's so brand new and I don't think everyone has gotten a handle on all the characters' names yet. I'm only going to be including characters for episodes that have already aired (and what we know about the characters only within those aired episodes) so as to avoid spoilers.
DOLLS
Echo: a female doll, one of the most requested actives in the Dollhouse, slowly rediscovering her 'wiped away' personality of Caroline Farrell (last name used in 1x07: Echoes). Is also able to "think outside the parameters of the engagement" to make it successful under unforeseen circumstances. Object of obsession for both Agent Ballard and Alpha. Completely trusts Boyd Langton, her former handler. Experienced a composite event in 1x12 Omega.
Victor: a male doll, had repeated imprints as Lubov, a Russian mob informant for Paul Ballard, and as a romantic escort for Miss Lonely Hearts/Adele DeWitt. Has a budding romance of sorts with Sierra. Was scarred on the face by Alpha in 1x11 Briar Rose, similar to Dr. Claire Saunders/Whiskey’s scars.
Sierra: a female doll, a friend of Echo's in the Dollhouse. Has a somewhat budding romance with Victor. She was brutally raped by her ex-handler, Joe Hearn. Real name revealed to be Priya in 1x08: Needs. Revealed to be entered into the Dollhouse against her own will.
Whiskey: a female doll, was the number one active until scarred by Alpha during his composite-event-turned-killing-spree. Revealed in 1x12 Omega to be currently imprinted as Dr. Claire Saunders, a manipulated personality from the previous “Doc” Saunders who was killed by Alpha. In "Omega" Claire finds out she is an active.
November: previously a female doll, previously known as Mellie, Paul Ballard's neighbor who has a huge crush on him, likes to bring him Italian dishes. Revealed to be a sleeper Active in 1x06: Man on the Street. Pre-wiped personality is revealed to have a deceased child named Katie in 1x08: Needs. Was released prior to contract expiration by request of Paul Ballard in 1x12 Omega; real name: Madeline.
Alpha: a male doll-gone-rogue; had previously been the best doll prior to a composite event which was followed by a killing spree. During said killing spree, he scarred Whiskey and spared Echo. Had had an unhealthy obsession with Echo prior to the composite event, which continued up until 1x12 Omega. Original personality was destroyed by Alpha after the composite event. Unconfirmed, but appeared to have killed Caroline’s parents in 1x01 Ghost.
Mike: a male doll, shown to share a room with Echo, Sierra, Victor, and November in 1x08: Needs. Pre-wiped personality is paranoid and obsessed with aliens.
Tango: a female doll, blond. First referred by name in 1x08: Needs. She was seen eating breakfast with Echo and Mike as well as leave the Dollhouse for an engagement as a Cabaret Dancer.
Quebec: a male doll. First seen in 1x08 returning from an engagement as an army soldier.
Foxtrot: mentioned by name in 1x07 Echoes.
Kilo:
Romeo: Bald, good-looking, very imposing man. First and last seen as one of Victor's "tech-heads" in "Epitaph Two: The Return".
Yankee: African-American. Burly. Reminiscent of Mr. T. First and last seen as one of Victor's "tech-heads" in "Epitaph Two: The Return".
DOLLHOUSE EMPLOYEES
Boyd Langdon: ex-cop, only worked at the Dollhouse for 3 months when The Target aired. Former handler of Echo, though the trust protocol is still in effect. Current Head of Security with the Dollhouse.
Adelle DeWitt: manages the Dollhouse. Was using her administrative privileges as a client “Miss Lonely Hearts” which centered around doll Victor’s imprint, Roger; revealed in 1x09 Spy in The House of Love. DeWitt gave up her alias Miss Lonely Hearts after it was revealed that Dominic was an NSA Spy by whom she had entrusted the responsibilities of the Dollhouse while she conducted her escapades.
Topher Brink: genius, helped to implement the imprint equipment, designs each imprint for each engagement. Every year on his birthday, he imprints an active as an ultimate best friend/tech geek, revealed in 1x10 Haunted.
Dr. Claire Saunders: in charge of the physical well-being of the dolls. Is aware that she is an imprinted Doll named Whiskey.
Laurence Dominic: former Head of Security with the Dollhouse. NSA Spy on mission to keep Imprint Technology within the Dollhouse. Had kept Ballard off the trail, wished to kill him. Viewed Echo as a liability, at risk of compositing like Alpha and conducting a similar killing spree; attempted to kill her in 1x04 True Believer and 1x09 Spy in The House of Love. Current location: The Attic. Briefly brought out of the attic when the Dollhouse receives a package from Alpha.
Ivy: Topher's assistant. Fetches him food, but also has imprinting/wiping responsibilities and intimate knowledge of the imprinting equipment.
Sophie Alvarez: Handler of a female doll, revealed in 1x08 Needs, former handler of Whiskey (seen in 1x12 Omega)
Joe Hearn-deceased: former handler of Sierra. Was caught sexually abusing Sierra, and was sent on a faux mission to kill Mellie. DeWitt activated November’s sleeper program, and November killed Hearn.
THE AUTHORITIES
Paul Ballard: Suspended FBI agent obsessed with finding the Dollhouse. Was sent information about Caroline Farrell by Alpha, feeding an obsession about the dollhouse, but focused on saving Caroline. Had a relationship with Mellie, his neighbor. Was sent messages by a mole within the dollhouse two times, first through Echo in 1x06 Man on the Street and again through November in 1x09 Spy in The House of Love, revealing Mellie’s status as a doll. Ballard found the location of the Dollhouse by following Mellie, and eventually infiltrated the premises with Alpha whom Ballard believed to be Stephen Kepler (the environmental systems engineer who made the Dollhouse self sufficient and rendering it invisible).
Tanaka: (played by Mark Sheppard) FBI agent interacted with Ballard as he investigated the Crestejo kidnapping in The Target, and again in 1x06 Man on the Street. Tanaka responds to a bomb threat sent in by Alpha in 1x12 Omega, Ballard gets him to leave.
Loomis: FBI agent with access to AFIS. Ballard goes to her information in 1x01 Ghost, 1x06 Man on the Street, and 1x11 Briar Rose. Has children, which fiercely love “Bouncy the Rat.”
CLIENTS
Matt: Repeat client; scenario involves a dream weekend with Echo as “Alice.” First seen in 1x01 Ghost, then again in 1x07 Needs.
Gabriel Crestejo: connected businessman. Called upon the Dollhouse for an experienced negotiator when his daughter was abducted in 1x01 Ghost. Was shot during the exchange-gone-wrong. Mentioned in 1x06 Man on the Street.

Biz: Manager for Rayna Reynolds, Pop Singer, who was being targeted by an obsessive fan. First seen in 1x03 Stage Freight. Called upon the Dollhouse for a body guard/singer who could get close enough to Reyna to protect her.
Unnamed Couple: delivered their baby in the snowy mountains, used Echo as a midwife.
Anonymous Client: 1x04 Grey Hour: Possible connection with the Greecian Government. Requested the perfect thief to recover a stolen artifact.
Joel Miner: internet mogul, created “Bouncy the Rat”. Repeat client; scenario involves reliving a moment with his deceased wife, Rebecca that he never got to share with her: their first house.
Clive Ambrose: Co-Chairman of the Rossom Corporation; third richest man in the country; nominated for the Nobel Prize. First seen in 1x07 Echoes, Ambrose commissions the Dollhouse for “an army” to handle campus-wide exposure at Freemont College and recover a missing vial of an experimental drug N-7316 (a psychotropic modification of ephenethylamine compound) after it goes missing and a graduate student dies from exposure. We learn in this episode that Actives no longer have inhibitors in the hippocampus which is where long-term memory is located.
Nolan: Client who pulled strings to get Priya, known as Sierra, into the Dollhouse against her will after she refused to sleep with him. Repeatedly requests Sierra's company. First seen in 1x08 Needs.
