Absolute agreement. It's so depressing it's almost painful sometimes, but it has many moments of truly epic storytelling. Something about it honked off a lot of people (I probably don't need to mention yet again that in my opinion one specific moment of it was very ill advised, cough Tara cough) but it doesn't deserve all the slander it gets.
Season 6 of Angel, had it come to pass on television, would have run into serious problems since nearly every character was dead at the start of it.

Disagree, death doesn't have to mean the end in Whedon's world....
Season 8 (so far) is better than Season 1...

The Gentlemen were the scariest demons.

agree. The Gentlemen were the scariest demons. Agree. Scariest villain for me is kinda Warren though, because he is a much more realistic character. Opinion of the season's quality aside, Joss' absence is noticable during season 6.

disagree, I notice it more during season 7.
Instead of the season 8 comics, I would have preferred a movie.
But only if: Joss Whedon wrote and directed it. The entire cast would reprise their roles. And it would have to be a full length feature fill with a wide spread release. No tv movie!!

it'd be cool if they made Kendra the Vampire Slayer comics.

disagree, I'd rather have the focus on making the Buffy comics amazing.
Bargaining pts. 1 and 2 were the best season openers ever!

Agree.
Just because Willow fell in love with Tara doesn't mean she's a straight up lesbian from here on out.

I'm going to agree. I think Willow has proven to be so open-minded that she can fall in love with a man or a woman.
most of Tara's season 4 stutter made me cringe...

Agree. It drove me a little nuts after a while. I like her much better in the later seasons when the stutter wasn't so pronounced. She was always just adorable anyway though.
Xander was way hot wearing his little swim trunks in Go Fish. (season 2)

Fo sho (agree)
About Bargaining. Worst season opener for me. Jesus christ is it overlong. And demon bikers? Super SUPER gay-lame. Forget fish people, THEY are the cringiest villains ever.
Although sad, Doyle's early exit is awesome.

Disagree. It was alright but nothing mega or anything.
The Body was one of the saddest episodes on Buffy and Angel?

Agreed. One of the best episodes and so very heartbreaking for all characters. Even Anya has her tear jerking moment.
Oz needs to come to the comics sooner. (I believe he is scheduled for season 9...correct me if I am wrong.)

Agree. I love the character of Oz, he needs to come in sooner!
Drusilla needs to make an appearance either in the new Buffy or Angel comics.

Agree. I think Drusilla is far too much of a well developed character not to be in it again.
While heartbreaking, I think Tara not coming back was good

Agree. If every dead character comes back then their deaths begin to lose emotional impact and meaning.
Season 5 of Angel, while it has some great moments, doesn't always have the same storytelling resonance of earlier seasons. Much of the story-arc and character devleopment feels rushed.

Disagree. I've honestly not noticed what you said. I think characters are evolving quicker in season 5 compared to season 4 but that is well suited to the change of pace. Weeks pass between many episodes. I'm very satisfied with the character arcs in that season.
Evil pregnant Cordy sucked.

I SO agree... I'm not impressed so far with the 'Dawn is a giant' storyline... Agree. When I first heard about it I thought it was ridiculous, then it grew on me, now the novelty has worn off and I just wonder why no-one's fixed it. Buffy was best at high school

I agree but I'm glad they kept things changing and let the characters grow up.
It would have been nice for Buffy to have a quick cameo during Angel's final episode.
