Welcome to the forums Stu! definatly read the Gatekeepr Trilogy. It looks like you alreayd have book 1. Power of Persuasion is good too. I suggest the Buffy Pop Quiz to be prepared for any Buffy Trivia Contests you may want to join, which give Buffy and Angel books as prizes. I also want to recommend The Lost Slayer by Christopher Golden. Feel free to join my Yahoo! group and let us know what you think of the books when you've finished more. www.groups.yahoo.com/groups/btvs-angel-authors

Has anyone read Spike & Dru: Pretty Maids All In A Row? I read it before season 7 and I thought it was great how it revolved so much around potential slayers. It was well written and quite enjoyable.
And all four Tales Of The Slayers. I loved them all.

Immortal is great. Yea! I loved Immortal! it was the first adult Buffy book. Chris and Nancy were on a very bad deadline with it too.

hi their can someone tell me whats the difference between adult books and the normal books..is it that their is more pages?? not necessarily more pages, but also more mature content. Some of the adult books were bad for people with short attention spans, while the teen ones are always a thrill.

I think Immortal may have had some sexual stuff in it, but Im not sur.e. I read it a long time ago.
HEAT by nancy Holder is one of those books that is for mature readers, with longer attention spans.
Also, some of the Adult books were originally hardback. Immortal started as hardback, but has been placed into paperback form.

One I didn't see mentioned yet was "Blackout" by Keith R.A. DeCandido. I haven't read all the books (far from it, actually), but of the ones I have, I'd rank it behind only "Go Ask Malice" as my favorite.
It's set almost entirely (except for a few pages at the very start and very end) in New York in 1977, and while Spike's in it a lot, it's really about Nikki Wood. So if you're looking for a book about the Scoobies in present-day Sunnydale, it's probably not the one you want, but if you like flashbacks (like me!), it's awesome.

FWIW, Spike and Dru: Pretty Maids all in a Row is one of my favorites. I got interested in reading it because a few years back in the Buffy magazine theree's an interview with Golden and he talked about how hard a pitch it was to S&S, the editors are all like 'you want to write a Buffy book that does not have Buffy in it. FWIW, I've been told that the differences between the 'Adult' ones and the 'Juvenile' ones are what the Scoobies are allowed to say (FWIW, I think the adult ones allow some swearing, think PG-13 so no 'f' bomb) and the juveniles are not allowed to even acknowledge, or imply, the characters might have sex with each other.

IMHO, much better than KRAD's last BtVS book: THE DEATHLESS

You should get "Go Ask Malice". I just finished it and it's one of the best I've read so far!
