What comics are in this omnibus? As in the titles?
I got a lot of the graphic novels and dont want to end up buying the omnibus which contain all the issues I already have.
Im gonna buy the first 2 as they have a lot of theones I never bought such as slayer interrupted/staketotheheart/dawn and the hoopy bear. etc.

Also other stories like The Final Cut, Food Chain, The Latest Craze, Play with Fire and Dance With Me.

I always took the remaining sunlight and uninvited guests as season 2 comics. Im guessing omnibus 3 they are meant to be set season 3 time?

cheers guys! out of this omnibus then the ones I have yet to read are food chain playing with fire dance with me and the latest craze I always saw all the others as season 2 set comics. I really like the happy new year one...dunno why but I like the whole climax at the top of the tower with willow/buffy/werewolf. Oh and white christmas I like. they are all really fluff but in general make an enjoyable read if not taken too seriously. Bad blood and Blood of Carthage are the bad boys buffy comic wise... LOVE those 2 arcs. like a separate season 3 and season 4.

In the first story 'Wu-Tang Fang" I think its wierd how they show Oz about to close a threesome with Buffy and Willow. If you look, they are watching a movie and Buffy is cuddling up to Oz more than Willow is...

I am reading through this omnibus right now. I just finished Happy New Year. It has to be the worst Buffy story I have ever read. It's like they ran out of pages and just slapped them all saying HAPPY NEW YEAR at the end. What a waste...
I find the omnibuses amusing and entertaining but as far as quality stories the first three volumes have been nill.

So, did anyone else find it lame how Selke was disfigued and put into poor health by recieving a knife wound to the side?
We've seen vampires suffer MUCH worse than that. Also, the only vamps in poor health we've seen on the show were Drusilla and Angel, and neither of them turned full on green with a disfigured face. I can buy that Selke could become a disfigued rat-slushie swilling monster after Buffy burns down her crypt, but not after the initial knife wound.

I'm kind of confused. The last story in V2 "The Dust Waltz" has Angel ensouled? So is that set in Season 3? Ring of Fire which was placed before is when he is Angelus... so surely if The Dust Waltz was Season 2 it should of been before Ring of Fire?

A lot the early Buffy comic stories (and books too) take place in this time limbo land that simply doesn't fit with the TV show. Here the gang is still in high school, Buffy & Angel are a couple, Xander & Cordy are a couple, and Willow & Oz are a couple. Which is actually impossible given the dynamic of events in the show. Also there is no mention of Faith, Wesley, the Mayor, etc
Omni V.2 says The Dust Waltz takes place in Season 3, but I'd say myself it fitted better into Season 2
Even later stories like Ring of Fire had bad continuity. With Kendra identifying Willow as a witch, and later they all do a big spell together. When in the show Willow didn't even to a spell at all until 'I Only Have Eyes For You', and not a big one until 'Becoming pt.2' Indeed in the Angel ep 'Orpheus' Willow says of the spell to re-ensoul Angel "Putting his soul back? It's the first spell I ever learned. I'm not gonna forget that."
So basically take the original comics with a pinch of salt continuity wise

Yeah, I get that they don't always fit with the TV series, but they should atleast run in continuity with the other comics in the omnibuses. Baaad continuity.
