For those of you that read the Buffy books, does it help to read them in order, or not?

For those of you that read the Buffy books, does it help to read them in order, or not? No, not at all. Some of the Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder books reference events that happened in others, but all the books are self-contained.

I was so bored today and randomly picked up Go Ask Malice and just read the whole thing in one sit down, I think it's the fourth time I've done that. You just can't stop, such a beautiful and dark story, those final 50 or so pages where everything comes together is breathtaking. So yeah, I think it takes the cake as the best Buffy book. (The Wisdom of War, The Gatekeeper Trilogy, Dark Congress, and Spike & Dru are also top notch)

Just bc it was nice to have a story of Faith's life before she was the slayer, and i loved the look of the book too. lol. Also, i am a big fan of Apocalypse Memories, The Wicked Willow trilogy, and some others..... btw I've been meaning to read Dark Congress for a while just never got a chance to buy it. Is it any good? ;D

Books I love: Apocalypse Memories Wicked Willow Trilogy The lost Slayer Omnibus Tales of the Slayer series Gatekeeper Trilogy The stake your destiny series (choose your adventure books) I'm sure there are more but I'm drawing a blank right now. Basically, I love every Buffy book I've ever read. Don't think there has ever really been a bad one. Also, i am a big fan of Apocalypse Memories, The Wicked Willow trilogy, and some others..... btw I've been meaning to read Dark Congress for a while just never got a chance to buy it. Is it any good? ;D Dark Congress was pretty good from what I can remember (read it a while ago). Definitely worth a read at any rate. I really like your icon and banner, btw. Slayer Interrupted is one of my faves of the old Buffy comics. **gives Karma**

My library had the Wicked Willow Trilogy books. Should I also pick them up?

I haven't read many so far, but the ones I did enjoy were these:
Go Ask Malice The Lost Slayer (I'm halfway through reading it, but it is very good) The Deathless - very interesting plot

Has anyone read 'Immortal'? It looks pretty good, but I'd like to hear other's opinions first.

Very adult, and not dumbed down like most of them. The story is entertaining and there is actually some deep character stuff. Now I want to reread it.

I'd say "The lost slayer" in first place,it was really interesting to see the characters in this future, ,and in second "Immortal",i think it's the best Buffy's books i read, even if the "Gatekeeper" trilogy was pretty good .
