True Blood is rocking my world, I'm amazed at how much I've come to love Eric, I really didn't like him at first (that actor was awesome in Generation Kill as well). All the story arc's are just brill, the show always has me guessing. I also heard that there are going to be Werewolves in Season 3, how awesome is that?

Kay I am loving Season 2 so far, every episode has been absolutely amazing, and the show has gotten rid of most of the cheese factor it had in the first season (especially the early episodes) but is anyone else kind of frustrated on how the rules for vampire blood keeps changing? I mean: In the first season just a couple of drops would make you start hallucinating and everything would become vivid and colourful and stuff which was neat. Now, a couple of drops does none of that, and instead makes you feel attraction towards the vampire that gave it to you? (with Eric and Sookie)
And before, ingesting a whole vial had terrible consequences, as Jason's, erm, private parts, almost exploded or something similar to that when that happened. But Sookie and LaFayette have both drank more than that, Sookie from Bill, and LaFayette from Eric and nothing dire happened to them. Nor did LaFayette suddenly fall in love with Eric. Or hell, Jason and Amy didn't fall in love with that fat vampire guy after ingesting a couple of drops from his blood.
It's really annoying how the rules for what it does changes like literally every episode. I think the writers should pay much closer attention to the canon rules that they've already established for it. =/

Great Episode, the aftermath of the explosion was preety cool. It was funny how Eric fooled Sookie into Drinking his blood. I guess her dreaming about Eric was an effect of his blood being in her.
I also loved how Hoyet stood his ground and defended Jessica when he was fighting with his mom. And Maryanne is getting preety crazy. She's really starting to raise Hell in Bon Temps. Hopefully when Bill,Sookie and Jason get back in town, they can Scooby up and find a way to defeat her.

I thought I Will Rise Up was a pretty good episode of True Blood. I’m so conflicted with Eric’s character. On one hand, Eric saved Sookie and lost his maker. On the other hand, Eric manipulated Sookie into drinking his blood. I didn’t know how to feel about Godric’s demise. I figured Vampires would become more immune to sunlight as they grew older. The total opposite happened. Did he even have to die? I didn’t like Nan Flanagan’s comment to Godric after he apologized for everything that happened, I’m not sure what she said exactly but it was something like… “Don’t worry, it will only be a couple signatures”. This made me not like Nan. I didn’t have a problem with her until this episode. The Newlins are only making it worse for themselves. Anyone else rooting for our boy Hoyt? He done told his momma! LMAO. Lafayette has some moves. S-nap!

Well, Godric did die in the book. I was still hopeing they would keep him alive in the show, but I guess not.
What really confuses me is Godric's Buffy-Vamp like death. Remember in season 1 were Bill burned in the sun very slowly, why trying to save Sookie?

And since Godric is the oldest vampire in the Americas... it would make sense for him to go out quickly. This episode was absolutely killer. I'm really digging Hoyt/Jessica (best couple in the series by far) and glad the Maryann storyline will finally be something for Bill and Sookie to contend with.
Godric's death scene was probably my favorite dramatic scene in the series since Sookie's dealing with Gran's death in "Cold Ground."

I'm loving this. It's gotten to be be up there with my current top three (of shows still airing). It surpassed DOLLHOUSE a while ago and almost ties with LOST.
I lost it when Eric started begging Godric in his native tongue.

Hoyt and Lafayette were both awesome this week. I totally agree with you Wyndam! Lafayette is probably my favorite character. I am soo sooo soo glad they changed him from the books! Lafayette = badass I enjoyed a lot of things about the most recent episode. I do however dislike how whiny Sookie can be at times. I am however seriously proud of Hoyt and Jason because in the past 2 episodes they have been standing up for the people they love! Yay!

Jason has always seemed way too weak willed. He'll just go along with whatever the most persuasive person nearby says. Then he just stops and says "Um.... sorry,". That doesn't mean I don't like his character. It's apparent that he is a kind person, even if he doesn't have any clue what is right, and he's got a big soft spot for his sister.
Now Eric is another story altogether. He is adorable this season. I mean OMG. And has anyone noticed he's also really really tall. It kind of threw me for a loop when I saw him and Sookie standing next to one another. He looked like a giant. I'm kinda hoping he and Sookie will get together even though I don't think it's very likely.
Plus: Has anyone noticed how Bill says Sookie's name in a really weird way. It's with an "eh" sound instead of a "oo" sound. My sister and I laugh about it all the time. Whenever things get serious we just look at each other and say "Sookie!". We get a crack out of it.

Reluctant Hero, I <3 your Eric icon!
I tried finding one to match my banner of him, but no luck.
Hmm, Mehcad Brook was in Dollhouse... He played a character in Echoes. Very cool. ;D
