1) Angel biting Buffy in Graduation Day Part 1 - while it's technically not a sex scene, DAMN! Plus you can so tell that Buffy got off from it! True. I wasn't sure if it was from pain or pleasure she gasped, but I read that Sarah'd said that she's surprised that the censorship-people didn't edit that scene, since Buffy had an orgasm. :vampirebite: Definitely from the pleasure of the pain! I was shocked it wasn't censored when I saw it. I guess since there were no body parts/lots of skin showing they didn't feel the need to censor it.

A vampire bite is in itself a pretty sexual act, but angel biting buffy in grad day 2 i saw as something completely else. The idea that buffy got off on it was the last thing that crossed my mind.

#5: Angel biting Buffy in season 3 #4: Oz and Veruca as werewolves #3: Tara and Willow in OMWF #2: Willow and Kennedy in Touched #1: Tara and Willow in 'Who Are You?'
I love the metaphory, not directly stating they had sex thing. That scene from 'Where Are You?' is still the hottest, most pornographic scene in the entire show.

In the Buffyverse it's not always a sexual or sensual act. There are plenty of times that there's nothing enticing about biting at all, like when Angel becomes Angelus in S2, the first person he bites and drinks from, there's nothing about that encounter that is sexual. If not something sexual, did all you see was her breaking point of pain or was it something completely different you saw? Just because Buffy got off on it doesn't mean she enjoyed it. Involuntary orgasms do occur from time to time, and to me that seems very possible for that scene.

Actually when i saw multiple posts here of people saying what a sexual act it was, I went back to rewatch the scene, and I guess I can see it. But whenever I previously viewed it, all I saw was her initial struggle due to the pain (crumpling the kettle or whatever that was, and kicking the chair), and then her finally giving in and giving up as the love of her life is helpless to the demon inside, and that moment realization that in that moment she's nothing but a meal to him. Looking back though, I have no doubt that on some basic level Buffy got off on the experience, it would definitely fit with her personality especially in latter seasons, but to me there was always a primary undertone of disconnect in the scene which i thought was fascinating and always took up most of my attention.

I can see how you can say she seems like she's given up/in to Angel killing her. I never really thought of that, mostly because I didn't want to because I'm a huge B/A shipper. But I like that viewpoint on it. I'm gonna go and rewatch the ep now.

yeah agree with all of that but in buffy vs dracula i know she was under dracs spell but i always thought she got off on getting bitten (just a little) She definitly did. I can't imagine how violated she felt the morning after tough. As mention in the episode(and by Bram stoker himself) Dracula seduces his victims, and Buffy was a "victim" so... If biting is a sex-thing, then Buffy got molested/raped in that episode. I wonder how she will act around Dracula in season 8.

Not just their first night. He asked her if she "wanted to see the bite marks" in Dead Things. I do think biting is a very sexual act for vampires, though, more than it is for humans. To quote Buffy: "See, this is what I hate about you vampires. Sex and death and love and pain -- it's all the same damn thing to you. ... With vampires, it is completely -- Believe me, I know." ( Conversations with Dead People) And Sarah Michelle Gellar: "A vampire is the ultimate sexual metaphor: You love someone so much that you want to suck their blood. You want to drain them, you want all of them." (Maxim, 2007) And James Marsters: "Well, I think vampires and vampirism are a very clear metaphor for sex. Male vampires almost never bite males and female vampires almost never bite females. Very clearly, it's a sexual thing." (Impact, 2001)

Biting can definitely be a sexual metaphor in some cases. Some it's not though.
I just thought that Buffy was in pain and giving up in 'Graduation Day part 2', I didn't think that she might of got off on it. There was probably a hint of enjoyment, but mostly pain. Her relationships with Angel and Spike have really sucked her (no pun intended) into the whole "sex and death and love and pain" side of things.
