Favorite Scene

What was your favorite scene of Angel and why? Not the entire episode mind you just the scene itself. I'll start things off:

In the episode "The Girl in Question" ep 5/20 - the scene where Spike and Angel are about to exchange the money for the head of the Capo di Familia, just before the fight scene, Spike says to the bad guy, "what are you in love with the Immortal", and he replies, "no, no...well, yes, yes"

Funny, funny, funny stuff.

I like the opening scene of "Hero". You get the filming of the "Angel Investigations" advert, as well as other dialogue which shows just how close Angel/Cordy/Doyle have become in just 9 episodes. Also all the Doyle lines play out at the end of the episode.

This is such a hard choice

But i love the scene in season 2 I'm not sure of the exact episode but when Cordelia is angry at angel and Wes is telling him he just needs to wait for her to forgive him and that time is the only thing that will help and than Cordy comes in screaming " Omg you got me clothes These are gorgeous! You have the most amazing taste! You have, like, a gay man's taste! And that's saying something. I love them so much! And then her and angel start doing a little dance i absolutely love that scene

Another one that i think is just hilarious is season 3 when Cordy and Wes are acting out a scene pretending to be Buffy and angel.

And one of the best ones is season 5 when it shows everyones last day i think that that is just beautiful.

But the best of all is cordy and angel in your welcome.

I would have to say my favorite scene is in "A Hole in the World" when Wesley is reading to Fred right before she is taken over by Illyria and the rest of her death scene. That makes me cry every time I watch it. That is by far the saddest death in the run of both "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel".

I am going to have to go with this scene from "Soulless":



"Soulless" has always been one of my favorite episodes from the series, mainly because it was nearly all dialogue (a vamp fight at the beginning and end, but nothing else). I just love this scene though, as I was surprised the first time I watched it at how Wesley actually expressed his feelings for Fred (instead of just letting Angelus make comments about it). It's a great scene that I always enjoy watching.

This scene led to another great scene between Gunn and Wesley, and it was also great to see all the discord that Angelus was able to stir up in the group.

My favorite scene is Angel's and Spike's argument over cavemen and spacemen.

There are too many, so I'm just picking the first thing that pops into my head, which is..... Lilah killing Linwood. Such a badass moment that made me love Lilah even more. I just want to cheer everytime I watch it. Lilah telling Gavin to "clean it up" is so twisted, especially because of how Linwood favored Gavin. She's such a bitch.

Hrm, i've seen the following scenes too many times to count. I often just stick in the DVDs just to watch them:

1. Cordy says goodbye (You're Welcome)
2. Faith vs. Angel (Five by Five)
3. Illyria lies to Wesley (Not Fade Away)
4. Doyle goes poof (Hero)
5. Angel's explaination (Power Play)
6. Cordy and Wes get their Bangel on (Fredless)
7. Cordy/Wes/Gunn doing We are the champions (Redfinition)
8. Spike vs. Puppet Angel (Smile Time)
9. Wes freaking out about his arm swords (Spin the Bottle)
10. Wes torturing a junkie (Release)

I better stop before it gets too self indulgent.

Yeah I tried really hard to pick just one scene from "Spin the Bottle" to choose as my favorite (since it is my favorite Buffyverse episode), but there were just too many brilliant moments that I went with my next choice after scenes from "Spin the Bottle."

I can't pick a favorite scene, but one I will never forget is the beginning of the end of Angel's human time in I WILL REMEMBER YOU. Such a sad scene.

1. Connor & Angel in "Home" in the sporting goods store, when Connor says "You let him get me"; finally revealing his true feelings about Holtz.

2. Spike & Angel in "The Girl in Question", right after the bomb went off and Spike is bitching about his jacket

3. Wesley scenes in "Spin the Bottle"

Hmm. I'm gonna have to go with Fred's death scene in A Hole in the World. Because it's beautiful and brilliantly done.
And In The Girl In Question, I loved the little 'I saved the world' exchange between Spike and Angel. So funny.

Uhhh, hard decision. I know my first place, but the following get a little blurry.

#1 Wesley dying in Fred's arms. (5x22 Not Fade Away)

Wesley and Fred finally get together and kiss. (5x14 Smile Time)

Wesley tells Illyria never ever to disguise as Fred again. (5x20 The Girl In Question)

"Now take your new boyfriend and get the hell outta here." (4x09 Long Day's Journey)

"You think I'll ever forgive? You're a dead man, Pryce. You're dead. You here me? You're dead. Dead. Dead." (3x17 Forgiving)


Right now, I realize again how much I love this series.

AND OF COURSE, the best quote ever:

My all time favourite scene ever in Angel is in THE TRIAL -season 2 when at the very end Darla decides to let herself die naturaly from her illness, Darla is crying and Angel hugs her, he is battered and bruised from all the tests he has went through to save her life and then just when you think it is all over Drusilla walks in all weird and creepy looking she walks in Lyndsey electruites Angel with a tazer and then Dru all in sort of slow mostion vamps Darla. It was the biggest shock ever!.....God I miss this show so much!!!!!
