These are my favorites.
Buffy walking with Xander & Angel to the school. Don't you Dare mock me.
Buffy catching the sword in front of her face in Becoming.
The students ripping their clothes of an fighting in Graduation day.
The joining spell in end of season 4.
Tara denying Glory the truth in Tough Love.
Willow fighting Glory in Tough Love.
Tara standing up to Anya in Older And Far Away.
Dawn kicking ass in Grave.
Amanda staking her first vamp in Potential.
Spike vs Robin
Buffy getting up after being stabbed in Chosen.

I loved Buffy catching the sword in Becoming that was so perfect  And I'm not sure if this fits into this category but when dawn and Buffy fight together in grave i just love it sisterly love.  |

The first moment that came to my mind was Willow saving Xander & Giles from the two wrestler-like female vamps in Season 5's Listening to Fear. I still remember how happy she was about kicking some vamp butt.
Another great underdog moment was Giles using some awesome sword moves to save a cowering Wesley in Season 3's Consequences.

Willow's staking in Listening to Fear was awesome. She did it so perfectly! Buffy stopping Angelus's sword is great luck, but also great to watch. Although Dawn is easily the most annoying character in my mind, she kicks butt in Grave. One of my favorite moments is in Touched, when the potentials are trying to figure out what to do, and Kennedy is trying to be in charge, and Faith totally shuts her down and tells her to back the hell off. That was great.

The scene from Prophecy Girl with Buffy, Xander and Angel is definitely at the top of my list.
Buffy and the gang leading the ubervamp into a trap and staging the fight between it and Buffy so she could defeat it in Showtime. "Welcome to Thunderdome."

I really like in Older and Far Away when Anya starts beating the demon up, I didn't expect that it and it was pretty cool.

-Joyce hitting Spike with an ax in "School Hard"
-Buffy catching the sword in "Becoming Pt. 2"
-Oz wolfing out just in time in "Beauty and the Beasts"
-Angel jumping out of Oz's van during the day to take back the Gem of Amara in "In the Dark"
-Spike fighting Robin in "Lies My Parents Told Me"
-Spike fighting Pavayne in "Hell Bound"
-Spike beating Angel in "Destiny"
Those are some of my favorites.

I always loved these Wesley moments in Season 1 of Angel. He really steps up and shows Angel that he's a valuable asset:
- Shooting the liquid nitrogen in "Expecting"
- Tackling Angel in "Eternity" when he was temporarily evil, and knocking him out. Angel could have killed them all if it wasn't for Wesley.

Oh, yes Wesley(yep, intended to sound naughty).
I love how he shots the doc and Knox, but I guess that's not exactly a underdog-moment.
He had some great scenes in season 1, some of them listed above. When he shots that guy with the nail-gun, throwing the cross to Angel in the possession episode and, and *melting*

Another one would be when Willow goes all evil, not really underdog but still she kicked ass !

In my opinion, this is the best part ever!!!!
At the end of season six when Giles comes back to fight Willow. He and Bufyy are talking, and he just starts to laugh. Buffy joins in and it gos on for a long time. Then we come back lke a scene later, and they are still laughing. I love it! xD
And when the Trio makes Buffy keep gong back in time in the Magic Box. She keeps fighting the mummy hand and stuff. lol
And when Xander and Anya invite the guy friend to meet Buffy, when they all get locked in the house by Dawn's wish. She all see him, and Tara is like,"I think he's cute, do you think he is, because I'm not a good pick with boys." And no one sats anything but Clem. lol "I do,"He says.

Buffy getting up after being stabbed in Chosen was the best underdog moment for me. My adrenaline was pumping all throughout my body. And you best believe I was applauding my young girl and yellin' "Now go and whoop some of dat ass!" while jumping up and down in my room.

I always enjoyed the random outbursts of violence that can sometimes come from the quiet ones... Namely Giles in Passion:  Xander in Entropy:  Riley in Into The Woods:  Willow in Tough Love:  and the most shocking Giles in The Gift... One of those moments that just added so many layers to a character... From that point on it was hard to look at Giles the same  |

Bst under dog moment was definatley in Becoming Part 2 ANGELUS: Here we are, no weapons, no friends, no hope. You take all that away and whats left? Plaunges the sword and Buffy catches it BUFFY: Me! I fully believe that if it weren't for the plot line of Angel and Buffy with Angel turning into Angelus, Buffy the show would not have lasted as long as it did. In the beginning their relationship was huge...a vampire with a soul in love with a slayer who then turns evil. Brilliant! |
