So I was looking on tv.com and made a list of the 20 lowest rated buffy eps.

Thought it might be interesting to redeem an episode on this list in exchange for one that was left off.
Like save 'Reptile Boy' (i love that episode) and put 'The Puppet Show' on the list.

Dear god, those ratings are (for the most part) wildly generous.
I'd replace Doublemeat Palace with Wrecked.

Agree with No.1 and No.2, those are the only episodes that are bad. Every other episodes are all very watchable IMO.

I usually just watch "Where the Wild Things Are" for the Anya/Xander drama and Giles singing + everyone's reactions. I will sometimes skip Reptile Boy and Go Fish.

i sometimes skip Inca Mummy Girl when i watch them from start to finish not because its a crap episode just doesn't interest me as much as the others. I didn't mind Beer Bad. Wasn't the bast by all means but i didn't think it was that bad.
I'm surprised The Freshman was on there it being a season opener and all.

Some of those episodes really don't deserve to be on that list, like The Freshman and Never Kill a Boy on the First Date. Agreed. Dead Man's Party had a lot of wasted potential, but it certainly doesn't warrant the title of "one of the worst episodes EVAR". |

I honestly don't think there is a bad episode of Buffy. Sure, there are some that arn't as good as others, like most of the episodes listed, but they all have moments that make them worth watching.

I really enjoyed Doublemeat Palace and The Freshman. Both have great moments of putting Buffy in extremely awkward situations. I thought that the magic whammy Amy cast on Willow was stupid and unnecessary though (in Doublemeat). Why would someone want a spell cast on them that made stuff they touch go all kablooey or gooey? I certainly wouldn't.

Manny the Manager, Cat Burgers, Halfrek going from evil voice to OHMYGOD!, the meat process, grease getting stuck in ears talk, the cow hat..... I'm laughing just thinking of all this stuff.

I'm surprised to see Listening on Fear on that list, wasn't that the Halloween episode in the frat house? That was classic!
Other than that, though, I agree for the most part (not entirely, though). Bad Eggs most definitely. As far as I'm concerned that's the worst episode of the entire Buffyverse.

No that halloween ep was called 'Fear, Itself'. I don't know if any of you guys have looked at tv.com, but all these numbers are the average rating from a bunch of different fans. But sometimes certain episodes get a skewed review so this list isn't really definitive. On the flip side, the highest rated episode is 'Once More With Feeling' which makes sense to me. I'd still watch a bunch of these episodes on the list over almost any other show, past and present. The worst of Buffy is still the best for me in many ways |

That's a pretty solid list of weak Buffy, except the absence of Hells Bells of course haha.

Pretty accurate, except for the questionable choices of Never Kill A Boy, Listening To Fear, Out Of My Mind, Dead Man's Party, and two bad but endearing episodes to me, Teacher's Pet and Reptile Boy. Otherwise, more or less accurate list. and was Real Me that bad??
Some better choices would have been Help, I was made to love you, Shadow, GIngerbread, Dark Age, etc. I didn't like Blood Ties either, too much boring drama.

I agree that Gingerbread should have made the list. Worst Season 3 episode (imo). I hated the way that Joyce Summers acted in this episode.
