I'd replace that entire list with "As You Were." AKA "The Return of Riley Finn, Super-Sodjer" - such an over-the-top attempt to make Riley appear cool it makes me want to yack. On the rational side, though, it probably was done that way just to give Buffy's depression-distorted view of Riley's "perfect life," so it probably wasn't really as bad as I think it is. And it's the only episode in the series I'd rate worse than a low "good". All the others had enough good stuff to hold up the weaker parts.

It seems people weren't too happy with Buffy going to college as I see The Freshman is up there.
Never Kill A Boy On The First Date is one of my favorite episodes. Teacher's Pet was good too. Fun Fact! I met the stunt actor who played the praying mantis that Buffy fights at the end of the episode. Pretty random, but cool.

I'm personally not a huge fan of The Puppet Show (except the ending). Just the sight of Sid killing that demon disturbs me. I'm not sure why.

'The Puppet Show' is the only Buffy episode that I completely skip, so i think it should definately be on there, 'The freshmen' isn't that bad either

How the hell could Out Of My Mind and Real Me be up there?
Is this the rating for the first time the epsiodes were viewed or the total?
I love Out Of My Mind. Spike is being bad again, and then gets knocked down. How could it be on the list??? Is the WOLRD INSANE?
I don't know what to believe anymore.
*taking out the gun*
Farwell cruel world.
*******'
Bad jokes aside, other than Out of My Mind, I understand why they are low rated. They're not bad epsiodes, some are necassary for the story, like As You Were and Doublemeat Palace, but most of them aren't for laughs.

The only one I really cannot stand to watch is I Robot You Jane. At least the other not so good episodes have a few funny lines in it or good character development but this is terrible and I don't like the way Willow acts.

Never Kill A Boy On A First Date wouldn't have been so bad if it weren't for that vampire in the morgue(Pork and Beans Guy)
The only thing that bothered me about Out of My Mind was the fact that it was the first episode where I felt that the "Spike's Chip"=get out of staking free angle got a little ridiculous.

Wow, I actually really like some of those eps. I think that "Listening to Fear" had one of the creepiest demons of the series ever. I actually really like the ep "Dead Man's Party" as a whole. One of my fave lines comes from this ep, Giles: (mocking Joyce) "How do you like my mask? It raises the dead. Americans!" Cracks me up every time! I love the moment between Buffy and Xander in "The Freshman." I think "Beer Bad" is just hilarious. And for some reson I love the ep "Bad Eggs." Yeah, weird I know.

Out of My Mind bored me to death. Ive only fully seen it once, after that, I have trouble staying awake. Riley looked a lot more pathetic than usual.
Another episode I could stand to never see again is No Place Like Home. The ending was good when Buffy gets her ass kicked by Glory. But the first 40 minutes of the episode are just unbareable.

I think Real Me is absolutely hilarious! I love hearing Dawn's thoughts on everybody. Anya bringing over her board games...Giles' new car...Buffy's rant about Dawn seeing "a dead foot"...and Harmony's gang!! This episode is classic to me.
Also, I love Dead Man's Party! Everybody knows I hate Pat...but I love to hate her! It's a different kind of hatred than the hatred you feel when you'd rather just skip an episode entirely.

One of my fave scenes in "Real Me" is when Buffy is laughing hysterically, that moment just cracks me up everytime! We don't get to see Buffy laugh that often in the series, so it's always nice to see.
And I love the moment where they are playing the board game and Anya says, "can I trade in the children for more cash?" LOL. such an Anya thing to say! I really miss her character.
I really found Dawn to be annoying in this ep, but it did have some funny moments like the ones mentioned above.

Really? I actually love that ep. I love the whole scene where Buffy does that spell and then she's going through the house and everything is fading and changing, it's so cool and trippy. I also love the moment at the end between Buffy and the monk when she finds out what/who Dawn really is - so heartbreaking. And I love the ending moment between Buffy and Dawn.

Im probably the only person on earth who loves "Go Fish." Ill admit that its mostly sentimental as it was my first Buffy episode ever, but I still love it despite its (many)faults. Im actually really forgiving of the bad episodes in Seasons 1 and 2. They all have this really grainy, B-horror movie vibe that I love. Even sucky writing/acting cant ruin them for me. That's a pretty solid list of weak Buffy, except the absence of Hells Bells of course haha. Hate that episode too. That and "Lovers Walk" establish the one fundamental truth of the buffyverse: that Xander Harris must die alone and miserable. Of course, everyone in the buffyverse dies alone and miserable, but Xander is the only one who actually deserves it.

Haha, don't feel bad. I am probably the only one here who loves "Bad Eggs." I cannot explain why I love it so, for some reason i just do. Oh, and I am completely and totally with you on loving the grainy, B movie horror feel of seasons 1 and 2. They are just the classic seasons, and there is just something about them that gives me a nostalgic feeling. Plus, season 2 is probably my fave season ever! *gives karma*

5. I Robot, You Jane (7.71) 7. Inca Mummy Girl (7.81)
I always skip those, ESPECIALLY Inca Mummy Girl. They just did the episode about Xander falling for a demon the season before and have Inca Mummy girl the season after. It was basically the same episode.
I LOVED the Double Meat Palace one. Mainly because of Buffy's reaction to working there, how she woudl zone out, etc. I worked at a KFC when I was in high school and I had the same reaction to working there.
