What My Line pt 1 and 2: when Buffy was alone and went to angel's place and also when when Buffy was holding angel after they had rescued him

Surprise: when angel turned evil at the end

Innocence: just about the whole episode

Bewitched, Bothered & Bewildered: i got teary when Cordy goes to her locker to get the ring and its around her neck

Passion: angel killing jenny Giles finding jenny Buffy and willow finding out and Giles and Buffy at jenny's grave

I Only Have Eyes For You: when Buffy is talking about making a selfish mistake and the last scene with angel and Buffy acting out the murder

You're Welcome: possible the most i have ever cried is when angel and Cordy say their last words to each other and then he gets that call telling him she's dead right after she says your welcome beautiful and sad

A Hole in the World: i cry for about the whole episode when Fred sings and spits up the blood when shes on the bed with Wesley and when she says "why cant a stay"

Shells: When wes tells gunn how about watching fred die angel talking about Fred on the plane and illyria realizing her army is dead also the ending when fred is at her parents and wesley is cleaning out her old office.

Underneath: gunn staying behind in the hell dimension so that the others cal leave

The Girl in Question: illyria being Fred

Power Play: angel killing Drogen

Not Fade Away: the whole episode but mainly when Wesley is dying and illyria pretends to be Fred his last words are just heartbreaking.

BTVS:

I'm not a big crier when it comes to t.v.'s and movies but the last scene in "The Gift" when Spike see's Buffy's body and he falls to the ground.


ATS:
At the end of "Shells" when we get a flashback of when Fred is leaving for L.A. looking all hopeful and happy.

Also in "Not Fade Away" When Lorne shot Lindsey probably the suckiest death in the entire buffyverse.

Yeah, I'm not really one to get all emotiony about TV. But the Buffyverse has had depressing effects on me.

I just watched Hero today... and dang. That kills me every time I see Angel and Cordy watching that tape at the end of the episode... and Doyle's last words on the tape are: "Is that all? Am I done now?" (ish... something like that). God, it's so fraking dumb that he died! Sheesh!

I'm not a crier by nature,but I'll admit to having a lump in my throat during The Body

Oddly enough growing up watching Buffy I can't remember crying a whole lot, however going back and rewatching episodes has caused me to get teary eyed on many occasions.

Like many The Body was just so emotionally raw that it's hard to watch without just being devastated and feeling horribly for the characters.

A couple people also mentioned a moment that makes me cry just thinking about it. Xander's speech to Dawn in "Potential". That moment when he says, "You're not special. You're extraordinary." I just lose it everytime.

Hell's Bells used to make me cry, now I usually just scream at the TV b/c I can't believe they didn't get married. All that lead up only to have Xander call it off at the last possible moment. Ugh!!

I never actually cried while watching Buffy.
My eyes got teary when watching the end of The Gift,
and Anya's death scene in Chosen.

Angel was a different story.
I was cryin' my eyes out while watching Shells.
When Kim Richey's A Place Called Home came on.
And you realize that Fred is not coming back.

- During the Prom episode when they gave her the umbrella. It was just so thoughtful.
- When Buffy starts her speech with Dawn right before jumping off the tower to her death.
- When Wesley dies and Illyria turns into Fred for him.
- In "The Body" when Buffy finally starts to cry after giles gets there.

Those are the only time sI cried. I got emotional when Doyle died and when Cordelia says her goodbye to Angel right before he gets the phone call telling him she is dead. Then of course when Buffy holds Spike's hand and their hands catch on fire. So emotional!

Oh, forgot about the big scene between Buffy and Angelus in "Innocence." That one really stings. Its almost painful to watch, in a good way. The Cordy/Conner sex thing in "Apocalypse Now-ish" is similiar. Not so much for Cordy and Conner(well, thats painful too I guess), but because Boreanez sells silent devastation really well. I never feel worse for the main protagonists more than I do in those two scenes.

TV rarely makes me cry, but in Buffy:

The Body: When Buffy screams at Giles "We're not supposed to move the body!!!!" and when Anya makes her "Fruit Punch" speech about how Joyce will never brush her hair, or eat, or drink, etc....those always get me, especially the last one b/c I lost a parent a couple years ago, and I know I thought about all that crap too.

The Gift: When Buffy runs and jumps into the dimensional rip and sacrifices herself, as everyone looks at her dead body.

Seeing Red (I think): When Tara dies. The look on Willow's face kills me.

In Angel:

You're Welcome: When Angel gets the call saying that Cordy is dead and never woke up.

A Hole In The World: Fred's death. Damn.

Not Fade Away: Wes's death, with Illyria turning into Fred, was so poignant that I just couldn't help it.

All I've got to say is, Damn you Joss Whedon for making me waste tissues!

There were many upon first-time viewing, but there are still a few that get me teary eyed no matter how times I see it:

* Willow's crying scene when she is looking for the right sweater in The Body
* Dawns reaction through the glass after hearing Joyce died from Buffy in The Body
* When Tara leaves Willow and Michelle Branch plays Goodbye To You
* When Buffy says "Giles I'm 16 years old, I don't wanna die", in Prophecy Girl
* Buffy's death in The Gift
* Fred's death
* The end of You're Welcome
* Doyle's death

and loads more Okay, I guess there's more than I realised. It's a great big sob fest!

I have to admit that when it comes to TV/films i can cry like a trooper, so the top 10 buffyverse tear jerkers for me would probably be-

-The end of Chosen, happiness, releif--- distraught at the deaths of Spike and Anya
-Obviously Becoming Part II- the look on Angel's face when he gets his soul back and sees Buffy, and then she goes and kills him..
-Most of "I Will Remember You" starting when Angel walks into the sunlight and kisses Buffy
-Fred's death in "A Hole in the World"
-Illyria pretending to be Fred to her parents in "The Girl in Question"
-Wesley's death and Illyria immitating Fred
-All of "The Body" but mainly Buffy telling Dawn through the glass
-Angel looking through the window at Connor in "Home"
-Cordelia and Angel's kiss and her death in "You're Welcome"
-Willow visiting Tara's gravestone

The only time (ever) I actually literally cried as the result of a TV show was when Tara died. But I did get a little choked up during the scene with the big four in Chosen right before the battle. That scene was completely perfect.

There are a few times in Buffy, Angel, And Firefly that have made me shed a tear. First when oz leaves willow in season 4. Then every time i watch that montage from Family, with Tara and her family, makes me ball like a freaking baby. Then during the speech when buffy dies in the Gift, When Tara dies, and in Conversations with Dead People when cassie/The First is talking to willow and says that tara still sings to her. and finally a combo of when the potentials become slayers and anya's death. for angel, when doyle dies, when Darla sacrifices herself to give birth to connor, even though i hate him in the show, When fred dies, and when wesley dies. And for firefly, when wash dies.

Holy crap! the buffyverse has made me kind of depressed... haha!!

It's pretty rare for a TV show or film to get to me enough to make me feel like crying but Jonathan's speech in The Prom makes me well up every time.
