 Silver surfer needs 600 votes yet, but he's fighting. the weird thing is that Buffy is winning with more than 2500 votes, but in others pools every character just get around 600 votes or so. lol |

The difference being that other characters don't have Slay Alive and Whedonesque.

Umm yeah, finally voted and Buffy is still kickin it. I read about all of the remarks. I really don't see why all the fuss about legitimacy...I mean, it really depends on each voters reasons for choosing one character over another. It seems like some folks see it as what the superhero achieved in the history of their comics in which case Batman or Spiderman or any of the older comic heros would have time on their side against Buffy. But, if the voter votes based on what they themselves take from the superhero's adventures, it seems logical that many folks could relate to Buffy a bit more than some of the other characters. Plus, she has always depended on her sidekicks, which obviously we get to be this time around  |

Yep! She has arrived and is beating Superman by a a little over 500 votes right now...there have been some busy Buffy fans out there!

Buffy has gone from Cinderella to favorite by ousting Batman and Superman in the last two rounds. Her supporters have come out in full force, voting early and often.
Spider-Man eased into the finals with a win over Wolverine, but he’s got his hands full now.
