I don't know why they're not showing it on FX anymore, especially since TNT is still showing reruns of Angel. It's probably because the show went off 5 years ago, and it isn't as much of a draw, even in reruns, as it was just after the show went off the air. Plus they put it on so damned early towards the end there that I couldn't even bring myself to watch it on FX anymore.

It's sad to see that Buffy is no longer on the air, but I HATED watching it on FX. My DVD player broke once, and I desperately needed a Buffy fix, so I woke up early to watch Anne, and within the first four minutes they cut out about three lines. I got so fed up that I had to turn it off.

I hate it when they cut lines out of a tv show or movie. That irritates the heck out of me. I can't bring myself to watch many movies on ABC or CBS now because it seems like every time they show one they cut out so much of the movies (like Harry Potter, Chronicles of Narnia The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, etc.). Either set aside time to play the whole movie, or don't show it at all.
I'm surprised they haven't put Buffy back on the air since the comics are doing well. Plus why were they on so early? If they would put it on at a decent time they would have gotten a lot more viewers. Btw, does anyone else remember when they use to run BTVS late at night on CBS or ABC (I can't remember which one it was), but I use to watch it all the time that way, but they haven't done that for awhile now.

What's the channel the shows Buffy in the mornings?
But yeah, even when they took Buffy off of weekday showings I got mad. Hey, they still show Friends, Will & Grace, Angel, Charmed, why can't they show Buffy too? In part, it probably has something to do with WB11 not being there anymore or UPN too.

I remember back when Buffy was still on the air, FOX used to show episodes of it at noon on Saturday's I think, and that's how I initially got into it. That and wondering "How in the HELL does a showrunner kill his main character and still have a show?" which made me start watching during S6.
And it definitely irritated me that they cut out so much. For a while I just watched the reruns on FX, and when I started watching the DVDs as I bought them, I was really shocked because it felt like I wasn't even watching the same episode--so much was cut that it was really unfamiliar to me.

They also made their own commercial cuts in TERRIBLE places. I remember watching Tabula Rasa, and they randomly cut right in the middle of Willow and Tara's fight when Tara said, "I don't think this is gunna work."
