I like the terms Whedonite and Browncoat. Although Browncoat reffers to mainly Firefly/Serenity.

I never did get the browncoat thing! That seems more suited to Doctor Who fans, cos the Doc always has a brown coat!! duh!

I personally have always used the term whedonite... I do agree that we are rabid though. Joss fans are fiercely loyal.

kinda want to read the rest of that artical. have often wondered about where whedonites place in the ranks of fandom? are we up there with the trekkers and star wars lot or are we a second division geek army? reckon we are probably the best organised when it comes to online votes and stuff. MON THE WHEDONITES!

Woo hoo! I'm a geek! As for the terms...I personally find Whedonist easier to say and better sounding! lol! Whedonphile just makes me think of paedophile...! I thought I was the only one. It does sound creepy. I totally agree !
