I sat through 3 hours of that and it was all for nothing. It would have been bad enough to watch it and find that Buffy didn't win. But no, we didn't even get to find out who won and who didn't! What a rip off and waste of the past month of our lives for everyone who took time to vote. I blame Howie Mandel.

That was awful. There could have been some hope for more knowledge of Buffy but yet again...it was snubbed at the Emmys. How sad.

I got blisters on my fingertips for nothing? UGH! And I could have gone and seen Burn After Reading. But no, I had to be a douche and watch the Emmy's. *bangs head down on desk*

I remember near the beginning of the show they were about to show a clip about "strong women" and I got extremely excited. What was the clip? Desperate Housewives. *rolls eyes* The only clip they showed that was ACTUALLY part of the competition was Seinfeld from the first 10 minutes. I blame Howie Mandel. My god that man is annoying. I loved when Neil Patrick Harris took a jab at him.

I don't remember it exactly, but it was something like..."Our bit got cut because Howie wouldn't stop talking."

Well Buffy won, that's great. But I'm extremely pissed they didn't announce it. For crying out loud it's been on for 60 years, you would think they would know how to manage time by now. If someone doesn't shut up get their ass off the stage and keep moving on like you're supposed to.
That's just our luck, Buffy actually wins something that's supposed to be shown on tv, and they run out of time doing that stupid reality show host thing. I don't understand why it would have been so bad to go a little overtime on it?

YESSS! I'm so glad Buffy won! Just a shame it won't receive as much coverage now. I'm going to boycott the Emmy's now.

I'm really mad.
This would have been a really good thing to shove in all the people's faces that think Buffy is a load of crap.

The Emmys were total BS last night. The academy reaches their 60th anniversary and they decided to waste time pimping the reality host award? Really!?!
I can't believe they didn't even take the time to annouce the winners of THEIR own contest, whether they had time to show clips or not. They've been promoting that top five tv moments for the last few months and we the voters get nothing for our time. I can't believe I sat through all 3 hours. I feel like a dupe.

You are absolutely right, Buffy won an Emmy and that's what matters. But Sarah Michelle Gellar and Michelle Trachtenberg should still have gotten the recognition they deserved. So for that, I hope everyone who had a part of cutting Buffy out gets uncontrollable diarrhea. And that's going easy on them.

I am so glad she won - but cannot believe they cut it! That reality show drivel wasn't worth the time.

I agree. I watched solely for buffy and even put off watching Trueblood (who DID have a Buffy reference in it!!) to watch that stupid reality show host crap!? That could have been cut down to show the winners. Poor Buffy...she really must be cursed..........
But hey, on the good side- SHe won!!!!! This shows an ever-interest in the show! Maybe will help push for a movie (i know i know...i still hold out hope......)

It wasn't an emmy award, it was a poll voted on by the people.
It does stink that they didn't include it in the show, though, especially considering some of the dull stuff that they did include.
