But it's quite interesting, I was thinking about this last night and thought it would be interesting to post it here see what some of you guys think

Okay, so the episode Him in season 7. You know all the "I can't believe I almost..." then Anya gets really nervous and invites them out for ice-cream. I assume that everyone here knows that it's because she robbed those banks and has quite a bit of money in her possession.

Well anyway getting to my point, I just realised that the money could have been used to support all those pesky little potentials that later come?
I mean in season 6 Buffy was having clear financial problems, Giles helped out a little but it was an ongoing problem and her new job as a guidance teacher type of thing didn't pay very well either as Wood says in Lessons I believe.
So it could be possible that they found out about Anya and her money and decided to use it to support them and the many potentials that they had to take care of.

What do you guys think?
I was just trying to think what Anya did with the money and how Buffy could afford to keep all the potentials? (Food,Sleeping Bags etc)

This is what happens when I have toothache, am laying in bed at night and an advert for ice-cream comes on lol. Buffy on the brain I know

That's a great theory!

I kinda figured that Giles had gotten money from the council, but this is better. Although that anya sepnt all that money on herself isn't that far out there either.

Yeah, I was in two minds considering how fond Anya is of money but hey let's just make her a martyr here

That is a very good theory! I have always wondered how they could afford to feed and house all of those potentials (and i imagine the tampon bill every month was quite high!) Add in personal effects like shampoo and razors and lip gloss (cause they always had to stay so cute) and you really would have to rob a bank to afford it for that many girls! None of them looked like they were doing without. Yeah they slept in sleeping bags, but like you said EternalSpikeFan, those cost money too! Excellent theory, and I hope your toothache gets better!! I hate those!

Lol I agree fully, it's just too high a bill for the combined wages of the Scooby Gang I think so it seems like a logical way to explain it and ties up a loose plot hole too hehe!

Oh and yeah, toothache is much better thanks. However, I have had to make a dreaded dentist appointment *kicks rock*

Thinking on the high monthly tampon bill, you know how women who live together tend to start cycling at the same time? Can you imagine how bad those couple days a month must have been in the Summers' house? Yee gods!

Yeah really! Poor Xander and Andrew and Giles! Good thing the girls didn't all have slayer powers yet, cause they would probably rip the house to shreds and each other lol. Which would cost even more money, cause the house already got torn up every other day by whatever they were fighting. I always found myself thinking that i bet the people who owned Sunnydale Window and Glass were so freaking busy and so incredibly rich!
