I always find myself waiting for the Turok Han/ Buffy fights when I happen to be watching Season 7. They are just so well choreographed, all three of them, but my favorite is probably the one in Bring on The Night where Buffy gets her @$$ handed to her on a silver platter with all the trimmings. The one in Showtime is also wonderful, cause it's just a pure slugfest. The Buffy/Faith fights are pretty popular choices, especially the one in Graduation Day pt 1 and This Year's Girl, but i think my all time favorite fight in the Buffy Verse has to be Faith/Angel at the end of 5x5. The first time I watched this fight I was stunned with my jaw hanging to the floor. Faith is force of nature in this fight, completely on fire, fighting dirtier than she's ever fought and with more rage than ever, using everything in her environment to her advantage. I also love the wonderfully cinematic fight against the Beast in Apocalypse Nowish, even though there is literally no pay-off whatsoever but it's still fun to watch. Lastly, one that comes to mind off the top of my head and I think deserves special mention is the Angel/Holtz confrontation in Benediction, cause for the first time in the Buffy verse we expect two arch enemies to have one final showdown, and instead they actually sit down at a table and talk things out. Amazing. What do you guys think?

I love the turokhan fight scenes, plus the Faith vs. Angel fight scenes in 5x5 and season 4. Angel vs. Spike in 'Destiny' is awesome too.
Kinda of an extentsion of this topic are some of my fav fight moves:
-Buffy fighting a vamp at the beginning of 'Buffy vs. Dracula' where she does a front handstand flip to land on his shoulders and pull him down to the ground.
-Connor in 'Deep Down' when he catches the ax thrown at Fred - it was "cool". Connor has some really awesome and unique fighting moves.
-Whenever Faith does her bendover, backleg kick.

My favorite on Buffy is when Buffy fights Anya in Selfless. It was short, but very well choreographed. It was just weird seeinf these two fight each other, it was also kind of sad.
My favorite on Angel is Angelus vs. Faith in Release. I thought the jumping was too much and kind of lame, but everything else about it was just so amazing. I loved all the back and forth between the two: Angel getting under Faith's skin, and Faith coming back "I'm not an animal" and stuff. It was intense, especially when he was holding the shotgun to Faith.

Angel vs Spike in Destiny, no contest. I'm also fond of Angelus vs Faith in Release, Buffy vs Glory in The Gift, and Illyria vs Everyone in Time Bomb.

Angel, Wesley, Gunn, and Lorne vs. The Beast in "Apocalypse Nowish" is probably my favorite.
Angel vs. Faith in "Five by Five" is another great scene.
Faith vs. Angelus in "Release" also very awesome.
Buffy, Faith, Spike, Xander and the potentials vs. Caleb in "Dirty Girls" was also really fun to watch.
Buffy vs. Faith in "Graduation Day Pt. 1" is also a favorite of mine.
Generally all of the big fights Faith was involved in were awesome. Even her fight scenes in Season 8's "No Future for You" were awesome.

Angel vs. Spike in "Destiny". Nothing else even comes close. Spike vs. Nikki ("Fool for Love"), Buffy vs. Faith ("Graduation Day, Pt. 1"), and Spike vs. the Chinese slayer ("Fool for Love") are really good, too. A lot of people mention the big fight vs. the Beast in "Apocalypse, Nowish", but I've never really been too impressed by it. I don't like 1vMany fights where the many decide to inexplicably attack one-by-one, instead of ganging up simultaneously, and in the case of this particular fight, it's too one-sided. The best fights are the ones that are much more evenly matched.

Gotta go with "Destiny" as well.
I love watching the heroes getting their arses handed to them in Dirty Girls and Apocalypse Nowish too.

Kinda like all those. And the Buffy vs. Caleb scene in "End of Days". Maybe because it's purely Caleb against a force he hasn't even begun to understand. He tried to break her, just like Angelus did in S2, and what's left? "[Buffy]". Other one which hasn't been mentioned yet: Holden vs Buffy in "Conversations with Dead People". Even though it's broken up with banter and psychoanalyzing, it's really well choreographed. Other fave: "Give us a kiss".

He tried to break her, just like Angelus did in S2, and what's left? "[Buffy]". What a great connection between Season 2 and Season 7. In Season 7 I think her having to be the caregiver to so many people was draining her...an example of where Buffy's friends can be both a strength and a weakness, depending on how they affect Buffy's state of mind. Her getting kicked out of her house actually stripped her from what was holding her back as a slayer. Removing everyone who was doubting her and only leaving Spike with his all-encompassing faith in her. Restoring her faith in herself. Both situations center around Buffy's belief in herself. Which also relates to how Twilight is attacking her belief in her mission during Season 8.

I actually got the Buffy vs. Caleb fights mixed-up. I actually meant the one at the end of "Touched", the one just before she nabs the Scythe. But same thing... thanks Emmie for totally making my post sound a lot smarter than it was really meant to be. I mean, I've always drawn the subconscious connections (although a reference to Buffy vs. Caleb in S8 #11 is pretty obvious), but you put it down nicely.

Xander vs. Harmony -I think it's in "The Real Me"
Various Spike vs. Buffy fights-I can't pick one. Joyce hitting Spike with the Axe in "School Hard" is pretty classic.
I'm sure that there are more that I'm not thinking of right now.

It's all about the Angel(us)/Faith fights for me. "Five by Five" and "Release" are my top two fight scenes of the whole verse, hands down. -Whenever Faith does her bendover, backleg kick. She also does a cool double kick move to the chest and face. That might be my favorite Faith move actually. The "Destiny" fight seems to be pretty popular, but I could never get into it. Maybe if Spike and Angel kept their mouths shut. As it is, I was so completely annoyed with both of them that I kind of wanted to stake them both myself. Buffy fights suffer from the obvious stunt doubles. Everytime I watch the Angelus/Buffy fight in "Becoming," I end up paying more attention to the Angel double's receding hairline more than anything else. Which is a bummer considering how huge that fights supposed to be.

The turokhan fight scenes are great in buffy but i love the scenes in angel where the all the gang are up against one big bad like the beast or illyria. And i really like the angel spike fight in destiny not so much because it was a cool fight more because it had so much history behind it

I love any fight scene with Faith. Especially her fights with The Beast and then Angelus in the next episode (Salvage & Release). They were classic fight scenes. Her fighting Angel in Five By Five is also right up there.
I also agree with Buffy fighting the Ubervamp. Those fight scenes were fantastic. Loved the Showtime fight.
My favourite "cool" move was (I'm not sure if most people will remember, but it always stuck in my mind) in Storyteller, near the beginning where Buffy is patrolling and comes across a vamp (or two), they fight (I think) then Buffy flips onto a mausoleum or tomb, is doing a handstand, then flips out of it pulling her crossbow off her back and shoots the vampire. Wow, I described that terribly, but I'm sure some of you will remember that scene.

I actually never noticed Angel's stuntdoubles receding hairline, now next time I watch it, I'm sure it will annoy me.

Xander vs. Harmony -I think it's in "The Real Me" I think the fight scene you're talking about is in Harsh Light Of Day. I agree, that's got to be my number 1 fight in the Buffyverse. Also, how cool is it when Illyria owns everyone in Shells? Classic. Oh and my favorite move has to be in Chosen or End Of Days, when Buffy is fighting Caleb and he throws her into the ceiling and closelines her in the chest on the way down. That was rad. And I love the sound of the scythe cutting through the air
