Favorite Quote(s): Out of Mind, Out of SightPeople who think their problems are so huge craze me. Like this time I sort of ran over this girl on her bike. It was the most traumatizing event of my life, and she's trying to make it about her leg! Like my pain meant nothing! Rm w/a Vu I'm not a sniveling, whiny, little cry-Buffy. I'm the nastiest girl in Sunnydale history. I take crap from no one. Cordelia: Back off, Polygrip! You think you're bad? All mean and haunty? Picking on poor, pathetic Cordy? Well, get ready to haul your wrinkly, translucent ass out of this place, 'cause lady, the bitch is back. UntouchedAngel: Do you know how hard it is to think straight with a re-bar through your torso? Cordelia Chase: Actually, I do. Benefits of a Sunnydale education. DisharmonyCordelia: [on phone with Willow] Ohhh! Harmony's a vampire? That's why she- Oh, my God, I'm so embarrassed. [giggles and chuckling wryly] Cordelia: All this time, I thought she was a great big lesbo...! [long pause while Willow says something] Cordelia: Oh, yeah? Really? Well that's great. Good for you! Willow Rosenberg: Thanks for the affirmation. Cordelia, Harmony's very dangerous. You have to get out of there. You're Welcome"Don't make it hard, Angel. I'm just on a different road... and this is my off-ramp. The Powers That Be owed me one, and I didn't waste it. I got my guy back on track." ¯Cordelia explains to Angel why she can't stayAngel: After the Fall Angel: "[T]he loved ones I've lost — usually come back to help me when I need it most." Cordelia: "See? Are those the words of the vampire destined to bring about the fall of civilization? No way! Be good, big guy." — Angel and Cordelia's parting wordsAnd soooo much more. Favorite Moment:-Becoming part Half-demon -Staking her first vamp on Graduation Day -That Vision Thing and Billy ep -You're Welcome ep -With Angel in After the Fall as a higher being #12-13 -Angel, City of When Cordy's at her best:-'Angel' season 1-3 as the one and only Cordelia Chase -You're Welcome -After the Fall #12-13 for now and ever Cordy will live on as a Higher Being/ Power Worst moment:Her Possession by Jasmine. Final thoughts:buffy.wikia says it best Cordelia is similar to Buffy, in that they both started as shallow and vapid but gradually became more dedicated to others and their own duty.... She become every bit as great a hero as Angel or Buffy. buffy.wikia.com/wiki/Cordelia_Chase#PersonalityWhich character would you like to see Cordelia interact with (that she hasn't interacted with, or hasn't interacted with much)?Cordy and Anya, I likede them to in 'The Wish' What's your favourite Cordelia 'ship?Cordy and Angel Did you prefer Cordelia's dynamic with the Scooby Gang, or her dynamic with the Fang Gang? She was the hart of the Fang Gang.

Gonna have to agree with you on that one, Thorn. Cordy is one of my favourite characters and I love her relationship with Angel. They seriously could have been so much more and I hated her possession in season 4. Love You're Welcome and was quite happy to see her return in After the Fall. Hope that we get to see more of our favourite cheerleader

Favourite Moment: "Oh... and you're welcome." Very classy; one of the best character send-offs we ever got in the 'verse.
Worst moment: Her Ascension is Tomorrow, with the glowy white dress and the flashing lights and her terrible blond haircut. Quoting Spike: "Oh, someone put a stake in me!"
More questions:
Which character would you like to see Cordelia interact with (that she hasn't interacted with, or hasn't interacted with much)?
What's your favourite Cordelia 'ship?
Did you prefer Cordelia's dynamic with the Scooby Gang, or her dynamic with the Fang Gang?

Favorite Quote(s): All the moments between her and Doyle and her little play with Wes on Buffy and Angel's realtionship. Favorite Moment: To Shanshu In LA, Looking after baby Connor, helping fight with Angel, Your Welcome When Cordy's at her best: With her friends helping people...oh and NEW CLOTHES! Worst moment: Sleeping with Connor, most of seaosn 4 but I supposemit wasn't really her. Final thoughts: They don't make charatcers like this anymore. This one has done it all. Which character would you like to see Cordelia interact with (that she hasn't interacted with, or hasn't interacted with much)? I'd like to see her meet Xander again. Not to get back together just so they could both see eachother and catch up, seen as they have both evolved so much. I think it would be a very interesting and sarcastic day for both of them. What's your favourite Cordelia 'ship? Cordy and Connor....ha nah I'm kidding, either her and Doyle or her and Angel, she grow past Xander, they aren't right for eachother now Did you prefer Cordelia's dynamic with the Scooby Gang, or her dynamic with the Fang Gang? Definatley the fang gang, she could be more of a centric character and had the chance to evolve better on Angel. Still it would be nice for a Scobbies and Cordy reunion...shame about the being dead thing, but Higher Beings have phones right??

I always loved Cordelia. Her character was that of a bitchy cheerleader who has a humbling experience and later becomes very nice.
In Angel, she was my favorite character. To suffer from her visions but to still keep them was just fantastic. I didn't like her in season 4, but that's because that entire arc was terrible in my eyes.

Which character would you like to see Cordelia interact with (that she hasn't interacted with, or hasn't interacted with much)?
Anya and Andrew, for sure! More Spike would be fun, too.
What's your favourite Cordelia 'ship?
Angel/Cordelia was the most aesthetically pleasing 'ship, and the one with the highest highs (You're Welcome comes to mind), but as a whole, I liked Xander/Cordelia and Doyle/Cordelia better. More consistent and more entertaining.
Did you prefer Cordelia's dynamic with the Scooby Gang, or her dynamic with the Fang Gang?
It's a toss-up, but... Fang Gang. With the exception of the saint-Cordelia arc of Season 3.

Favourite Quotes:
"Oh, I'm not saying that we should kill a teacher every day just so I can lose weight, I'm just saying when tragedy strikes, we have to look on the bright side. You know?" ("Teacher's Pet")
"Oh, Buffy, it's like we're sisters! With really different hair. " ("Reptile Boy")
"Makeup, makeup... Well, give it your all, and keep to the shadows. We're gonna have a blast!" ("Reptile Boy")
Buffy: "Cordelia, put out the fire!" Cordelia: "Oh, right." ("Gingerbread")
“Oh, my urination just hasn’t been public enough lately.” ("Rm w/a VU")
“Hi, I’m Cordelia. Sorry about the possession and everything.” ("I've Got You Under My Skin")
"[To Angel] You're handsome, and brave, and heroic, emotionally stunted, erratic, prone to turning evil and, lets face it, a eunuch. ("Carpe Noctem")
Cordelia: "I'm Cordelia Chase." Eve: "Oh. My name is..." Cordelia: "I didn't ask." ("You're Welcome")
Favorite Moments:
"Out of Sight, Out of Mind": The first time the character shows depth. "You think I'm never lonely because I'm so cute and popular? I can be surrounded by people and be completely alone."
"Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered": The scene where she basically tells Harmony and her friends to screw themselves. Her best moment on Buffy. "You're a sheep. All you ever do is what everyone else does just so you can say you did it first. And here I am, scrambling for your approval, when I'm way cooler than you are 'cause I'm not a sheep. I do what I wanna do, and I wear what I wanna wear. And you know what? I'll date whoever the hell I wanna date. No matter how lame he is."
"To Shanshu in L.A.": The first time the character fully understands other people's pain and becomes dedicated to her mission. "I saw them all. There is so much pain. We have to help them."
"Birthday": Giving up her supposed dream and risking deformity for the man she loves and the mission. Absolutely perfect culmination of Cordelia's character arc, it's a pity she deteriorated rapidly after this episode. Skip: "You may never be able to lead a human life again." Cordelia: "So demonize me already."
"You're Welcome": Fantastic redemption for the character after being written into the ground by season four. She just radiates "Cordelia Chase" and reminds you what a great character she is. "Don't make it hard, Angel. I'm just on a different road... and this is my off-ramp. The Powers That Be owed me one, and I didn't waste it. I got my guy back on track."
When Cordy's at her best:
Angel seasons one and two. She's a much more central character, but still has her trademark sass. I think she started becoming watered down in season three, and Charisma Carpenter's increasingly awful hair and outfits didn't help. That said, "You're Welcome" combines everything we love about early Cordelia and combines it with her later development (not to mention she looks frickin' awesome in that episode). She feels "complete" in "You're Welcome".
Worst moment:
Her ascension in "Tomorrow". As Enisy mentioned above, the hair and outfit were inexcusable. Not to mention the scene was horribly written and marked the begining of the character's downfall. Sleeping with Connor was also a low point; yes, it wasn't really her but it left a nasty stain on the character that never really washed off.
Which character would you like to see Cordelia interact with (that she hasn't interacted with, or hasn't interacted with much)?
Spike. They kept missing each other, but what we saw was fun. I especially like the scene in "In the Dark" where Spike tells her she looks "smashing". ;D
What's your favourite Cordelia 'ship?
Cordy/Angel. They had a beautiful friendship and it felt very natural the way it evolved into something deeper. I like how nothing ever really happened though.
Did you prefer Cordelia's dynamic with the Scooby Gang, or her dynamic with the Fang Gang?
Team Angel, especially the Angel/Cordy/Wes/Gunn combination. She interacted well with the Scoobies in S2, but I didn't like how she became an outsider again in S3, it felt like a regression of her character.
Final thoughts:
Cordelia is easily one of the best characters in the Buffyverse and one of my personal favourites (possibly second only to Buffy herself). I just love her attitude and the way she deals with life, she's a great role model IMO.

Spoiler Space for discussion of all things Joss Whedon-related - - - - - - - - - - - Favorite Quote -I have a lousy memory for quotes but I love her speech about her lonliness in "Invisible Girl". It's not funny but it's a remarkable case of a character moving form unsympathetic to sympathetic in about a minute-it's when I first fell in love with her... Favorite moment: It's in "helpless" when Buffy is at her absloute worst. Cordelia literally stumbles into the library and, even though Cordelia's mad at Xander and Willow and has really been acting obnoxiously, Buffy still knows that Cordelia will be there if she needs here-and Buffy's absolutely right. I'll never get why so many people don't get that Buffy and Cordy are friends. Admittedly, they're not above insultig each other but all Cordy's relationships are like that... When Cordy's at her best-Cordy is always at her best. She wouldn't be Cordy if she wasn't! Seriously,I have to go with her self-scrifice in Birthday too.. Worst moment: Mocking the divorce of Buffy's parents when they were both running for prom queen-even for COrdy, that was a bit much. Also, going blonde-not a good idea.... What character would I like to see Cordy interact with that she hasn't much-Dawn. I think Cordy would love having a "little sister" that she could impart her wisdom to. Tara might be interesting too-in some ways, they're very much alike. They're both mother hens to their groups-thye just have very different approaches to their mother henning... Favorite Cordelia ship-Cordy/Xander Scooby dynamic or Fang Gang dynamic-I can't pick. I love them both.. Final thoughts : I adore Cordy always. I loved watching her journey and I certainly hope we haven't seen the last of her. I think her journey's far from over....
Best wishes,
Scott

Favorite Quote(s):This is a tough one, cuz she has a heap of excellent quotes, but my favourite is her last line in 'You're Welcome' Favorite Moment:You're Welcome. Love that episode. It's a fitting final ep for her. Also loved her appearance in After the Fall When Cordy's at her best:When she's being snarky, even in Sunnydale. When she's cheering up Angel and inspiring him to keep going. Also, any time she's with baby Connor, which leads into... Worst moment:Definitely sleeping with Connor. Okay, so she was possessed. Another worst moment. I'll just say that season four was her worst moment overall in general Which character would you like to see Cordelia interact with (that she hasn't interacted with, or hasn't interacted with much)?Spike. Definitely Spike. I love their small argument in 'You're Welcome'. Shame there wasn't much of them interacting. It would have made for some hilarous fun What's your favourite Cordelia 'ship?Angel/Cordelia. Always. No. 1 favourite ship Did you prefer Cordelia's dynamic with the Scooby Gang, or her dynamic with the Fang Gang?Preferred her with the Fang Gang. She was a bit of an outsider with the Scoobies, but she was the core of the Fang Gang. The gang lost some of its zest when Cordy left them Final thoughts:Love ya Cordy. You're one of my favourite characters and its a shame that you had to go. Look forward to anymore appearances you'll make

Favorite Quote(s): "You're a lot smarter than you look. Of course, you look like a retard..." "As vampires go, you´re pretty cuddly." This is Angel. Oh no, I can't do anything fun tonight... I have to count my past sins, then alphabetize them... Oh by the way I'm thinking of snapping on Friday. Favorite Moment: Has to be your welcome she was just gold <3 And it make me cry. When Cordy's at her best: Season 3 of buffy or season 2 of Angel. And i can't pick a moment she has to many. Worst moment: Season 4 of angel... all bad. Final thoughts: Cordy make Angel without her i doubt those first seasons would have been that great.

What's up with Cordy appreciation month!! Woo!!! I love me some Cordy so let's do this!:
Favorite Quote(s): God! What is your childhood trauma?! followed by Excuse me, I have to call *everyone* I have *ever* met, right now.
Favorite Moment: The entire scene in Halloween when she arrives at Buffy's house is hilarious. It's one of my favorite scenes in the verse. I'll transcribe:
Willow: Okay, your name is Cordelia, you're not a cat, you're in high school, and we're your friends. Well, sort of.
Cordelia: That's nice, Willow. And you went mental when?
Willow: You know us?
Cordelia: Yeah. Lucky me. What's with the name game?
Willow: A lot's going on.
Cordelia: No kidding. I was just attacked by Jo-Jo, the Dog-Faced Boy. Look at my costume! (shows the torn sleeve) Do you really think that Partytown's gonna give me my deposit back? Not on the likely.
Xander has taken his shirt off and puts it around her shoulders.
Xander: Here.
Cordelia: Thanks.
Willow: Okay. You guys stay here while I get some help. If something tries to get in, just fight it off.
Buffy: Well, i-it's not our place to fight. Uh, surely some men will protect us.
Cordelia: What's that riff?
Willow: I-it's like amnesia, okay? They don't know who they are. Just sit tight. (starts to go)
Cordelia: Who died and made her the boss?
Willow walks through the wall behind Cordelia. Buffy stares in wide-eyed amazement.
oh she's f'ing hilarious there. The comedic timing is perfection and she's just awesome. Love that scene.
When Cordy's at her best: Probably turning down fame and fortune to save Angel's sanity. That was one of the most selfless things anyone's done in the verse...especially considering who and how she is. Shame it was all for naught and that Skip was a dirty rotten liar!!
Worst moment: The tinkly piano of evil ConCord sex.
Final thoughts: Cordy rocks my world! I loved Queen C on Buffy and loved her on Angel for very different reasons. I actually think I like her on Buffy more but that's a whole other conversation. Pairing her with Angel (sort of) was a mistake imo and so was her blond hair. She had a terrible love life and then she died. RIP Cordelia Chase.

Favourite Moment: I loved when she kissed Angel one last time and told him "You're Welcome", but I know I may recieve flack for this, but in Rm W/ A Vu when she says "The Bitch is back." I dont know what it is about that moment, and even though its only Season 1, I felt that that line alone showed how much character progression she had already had.
Worst moment: Her becoming a higher being. It worked well with the plot and overall story, but I just felt that it was cheesy and I really wanted her and Angel to just admit the feelings that they had for eachother.
Which character would you like to see Cordelia interact with (that she hasn't interacted with, or hasn't interacted with much)? Probably Andrew. I think that the experience would be really hilarious. However, I really want to see Cordelia speak to Xander again. I feel that there is so much that could be done with that, not necessarily romantic, but just in general.
What's your favourite Cordelia 'ship?
Cordelia and Xander. Xandelia? Hmm. I loved the opposite attract-ness of these two and I loved that way that they both fell head over heels for eachother. I was sad that it ended when Xander went and kissed Willow (stupid Xander!). I like Cordy and Angel, but it just felt like it wouldnt last even if it truly had gotten started. Like Buffy and Spike. Angel loved Cordy but not in the way that he should, more of a Buffy loves Spike way.
Did you prefer Cordelia's dynamic with the Scooby Gang, or her dynamic with the Fang Gang? I felt that Cordy's skills were completely looked away from when it came to the Scooby Gang, but I loved how surprised they would be when she actually helped out (Killed By Death). I felt that when she was with the Fang Gang, she was definately second-in-command and I really enjoyed that.

Favorite Quote(s):
"When it comes to dating, I'm the Slayer."
"You think I'm never lonely because I'm so cute and popular? I can be surrounded by people and be completely alone.
"Well guess what. The bitch is back."
Favorite Moment: In Out of Mind, Out of Sight [/i], Buffy makes a comment about how popular Cordy is and she says the quote up above.
When Cordy's at her best: Throughout most of Angel.
Worst moment: When she's trying to control Angelus in season 4.
Final thoughts: Cordy, no question, had the biggest change throughout the 8 years on Buffy and Angel. Thinking about it, others include Faith, Willow, and Spike. But they all pail in comparison to the transformation from beauty queen pacifist to kickass fighter experienced by Cordelia Chase
Which character would you like to see Cordelia interact with (that she hasn't interacted with, or hasn't interacted with much)? Cordelia + Anya (pre Hell's Bells[/i]). I'd love to see how she reacts to the fact that Xander, her former boyfriend, is marrying the woman who basically killed her in another universe.
What's your favourite Cordelia 'ship? Cordelia + Xander. I feel like there was a story to be told after Cordelia left for LA that could've been told, but wasn't.
Did you prefer Cordelia's dynamic with the Scooby Gang, or her dynamic with the Fang Gang? The fact that she didn't slay a vampire until the end of her third season on Buffy, i'd say she was more useful and is just a better character on Angel with the Fang Gang.

Oh me, oh my! I love Cordy! She was hilarious. Definately a fav.
Favorite Quote(s): "Ooo, these grapes are sour.", "Are you still .. GRR?", "And all i can think is... it coulve been me!", "These visions are killing me.", "If I lose the visions I wouldn't be able to help you anymore, you wouldn't need me.", and many more that havent come to mind yet.
Favorite Moment: All her funny things. I dont think I have a favourite. They all rock.
When Cordy's at her best: When she was working with Angel and Doyle. Everything was wonderful. Why did Doyle have to die!? I would've prefered he stay alive and all those other half demon things were killed.
Worst moment: When she was in the coma. Soooo boring!
Final thoughts: She was one of my favourite characters and Im sad that she had to die.

Poor Cordy, doesn't seem like she's getting a lot of love around these parts. She's definately in my top ten whedonverse characters. So, here are some of my favourite Cordelia things:
Favorite Quote(s):
By far my favourite quote of Cordelia's cause I just think it summed her up so well: "I'm Cordelia. I don't think. I know. Okay?"
And then another funny one that I don't think has been contributed:
"Grease stains all over my new outfit! Okay, so maybe my pain isn't physical, but do you have any idea of the dry cleaning bill I'm looking at?"
Favorite Moment:
But I think my favourite Cordelia moment was her goodbye to Angel. It was just so powerful, a nice finality to a character (even though they shouldn't have gotten rid of her in the first place =[). Her final line "You're welcome" was just so Cordelia.
Second to that is Birthday, her giving up her great life to instead help people was just so selfless.
When Cordy's at her best:
I like her most when she's being her old Cordelia self. During her Buffy and early Angel seasons. Near the end of season three she definately became more selfless, and I appreciated it, but I think the writers forgot to balance it out with Cordy-esque humour. When she's being her somewhat bitchy, somewhat selfish self, she's absolutely hilarious. And I love it.
Worst moment:
Gah, all of Season 4. God did they ever butcher her character. And her saintly-ness in Season three was also bad just not as bad as Season 4 Cordelia. I liked that she gained some appreciation for humanity and what not, but it seems they forgot to give her her Cordelia-edge during that time.
Final thoughts:
Oh Cordelia, you were so mishandled by the writers. And Season 4 was saddenining, and I wish you were around for Season 5. I think you were unjustly removed from the show. =[
I also wish she made some cameos back in Buffy, interacted with Anya some, I think they would have been hilarious together and good friends.

Favorite Quote(s): there, are too many to count, but i seriously love: "God, what is your childhood trauma?" Favorite Moment: Probably when she declares that she doesn't care what Harmony thinks, and then walks away with Xander. When Cordy's at her best: In Angel, when she and Angel get really close, adn then you look back at seasons 2 and 3 of Buffy, and you just go "how the hell did that happen?" Worst moment: When she announces she's pregnant. I know Charisma was pregnant, so they had to work it into the show, but they did pregnancy last season, and the storyline got a little old. Final thoughts: Awesomeness. I loved her so much more in Buffy, because she just got to be a bitch. Though the softer side of Cordy is nice, you can't not love total bitch Cordy. Final thoughts:Oh Cordelia, you were so mishandled by the writers. And Season 4 was saddenining, and I wish you were around for Season 5. I think you were unjustly removed from the show. =[ She had to be removed form the show to go give birth and raise her baby. She wasn't taken out against her will.
