Soo there is noone else I can talk to about this feeling I have about Buffy. It's the only show that I feel like is a part of me (well besides Angel, but they are like 2 peas in a pod). I've been into it for 10 years now and I'm STILL just as intrigued & obsessed with it. Season 8 definitely helps to keep my love 4 buffy alive There's just something about the characters and the writing and the universe that makes me so excited- like I wish I could be a part of it. And I can always go back and watch an episode I love and just think of the entire series as a whole and appreciate the episode that much more. The level of story telling is beyond anything else I've seen. Or maybe that's just because I don't really give much of anything else a try. Buffy is enough for me. If I want to laugh-watch Pangs. If I want to cry- watch Passion. If I want action-watch a season finale. There's always an episode I feel like watching. So what makes Buffy better or different than any other shows for you?? BTVS 4 EVER <3 Whoa, exactly how i feel. Except the comics, i can't read them, dk where to find them, dk how much they are. I seen buffy in like 2004, i think. I've been hooked on it since that day.

^^Thanks for sharing, buffyrocksmylife! Have you ever tried getting a subscription online to the comics? I get mine mailed to me every month, from tfaw.com, because it's a bit too far for me to drive to get them.

No, actually I haven't. Is it free? It probably isn't. And, your welcome!

I love sharing the Buffy-love! (Like with people who've never seen it before, I talk about it to pretty much everyone I meet!)
I know it's not for everyone but I urge EVERYONE to give it a go, and especially go past season 1! For first timers I like to show them a random good episode and THEN start them from the start otherwise I find nobody wants to continue watching (I guess s1 sort of shows it's age these days - I STILL LOVE IT!).
I recently got my best friend and her boyfriend to watch all the way through 1 - 7. I feel so much love and pride when I realise they love it to. My Bestie just randomly started singing "I've got a theory" the other day and we three had a random group singing moment. It made me soooooo happy! for years I couldn't talk to her about it cos she didn't "understand" now I can gush like there's not tomorrow!

Awe Jess, that's so nice that you got your besty/BF to watch it! I've tried and tried with friends before, but I've gotten nowhere! I'll keep on trying though!
Buffyrocksmylife: I do pay for the shipping/comic book every month, and it comes out to around $6 and some change, which the comic book is $3, and I'd prob spend around $3 or more driving into my city to get to the nearest comic book shop. Are you in the US? I know that the shipping's not too bad here, but if you're international, I bet that they have the shipping variations on their website.

Any show that can have several people watch the same scene and get a different interpretation of it is cool in my book. it means its worjking on a different level, not being just one-dimensional like so much soap opera.
