man, i ADORE this musical. i'm watching the first two parts over and over again, because that's my new favorite song.
"Back to witches and wizards and magical beasts! To goblins and ghosts and magical feasts! It's all that i love and all that i need at Hogwarts! Hogwarts!"

nice! i aksed this girl who works at our local theatre and she was like "ummmmmm.....i think they go on sale, like, two weeks before...." She thought i was a total geek. But maybe that's because i was asking my friend who i was with if she would help me steal the massive carboard stand-up of HBP from teh lobby...

I was watching big brother last night and the harry potter trailer came on the ad break and got me INSANELY excited.
It was a trailer I hadnt seen before and I was totally blown away.
The millenium bridge breaking!! Looks like an awesome set piece. I love it when they put in the set-pieces in London that are actually in the book, like flying on the broom sticks up the Thames in the last movie.
so excited!

My sister has two of the ceiling hangings from when HBP (the book) was released They're a big cutout of the front of the book. Anyway, about this film. Very much looking forward to it, saw an ad on TV last night and it looks great. I've heard reports from test screenings that it's not brilliant, but I guess we'll know in what - 19 days?

lol. yeah, the big cutout here is four-sided and has a character on each side. I'll keep the Hermione and Draco sides and you can have the Ron and Harry ones. I'll ship them over to the UK XD.

no way. i love Hermione and Emma Watson both! although it does have Slughorn creeping in the background. The Harry one has Dumbledore in the background, the Ron one has Ginny in the background and the Draco one has Snape in the background...

*steals back wand* those TriWiz wands are way too fancy. at www.alivans.com they have super fancy ones too, but i prefer the normal looking wands *strokes Holly/Ebony wand*. i chose it cause it's plain and normal.

YES! I started a giant magical Harry Potter fandom battle.
Im very pleased. mwahahaha.
Ill see about nicking two for you both...or maybe ill just keep all of them and start my own Harry Potter army and take over the world.
And on a more serious note...
JW, working in a cinema is GREAT!! Its a lot easier than other jobs such as waitering which I found horrendous. You get free movies, free posters and standups etc. And this is a bit of a generalization but in my experience the majority of cinema workers are younger people, late teens to twenties, so you are usually working with a group of people around your age which makes its a more sociable thing. And the whole job in general is fairly sociable compared to other jobs. For example you arent just handed a broom and told to go clean a screen alone as thatll take longer and they need the screen ready for the next film, so theres usually a group of you working together which is fun. However always be on the lookout for stray pieces of popcorn, my old manager had a complex about popcorn, even if there was a tiny corner of a piece of popcorn in the foyer he'd complain about how I wasnt doing my job to my 'fullest ability'. Watevs.
Oh and did I mention the free films? lol.
Now, let the battle for the cardboard Harry Potter continue...
