She's a fantastic actress so I am really happy to see some success come her way.
I enjoyed Saw 1 and 2, thought 3 was alright and 4 was abysmal, but here's hoping Julie Benz will bring something worth watching to the new one.

I really enjoyed the first few saws. It was something new and all but then it just got really really bad. The latest one was just beyond crap.
Maybe she should re-think signing on for the next one. I cant see it being any more a hit then the last one.:\

they announced Saw 5 the weekend saw 4 came out last year.
These movies are bankroll because they are so cheep to make and they bring in enough money on the opening (Halloween) weekend to recoup any money spent. They are goint to keep pumping these out until they start loosing money.
I think that the 1st and 4th movie are the weakest. The forsts was cool because it was a new formula for horror movies but I think parts 2 and 3 are much more interesting and not as corny and the actors ar MUCH better! The acting in the first was soooo bad!

I agree. 1 and 4 were the weakest, 2 and 3 held that psychotic thing to a tee, you got more into the minds of those behind it instead of wondering who it was doing it. Instead, you're more focused on what will really happen to the people.

It does make a lot of money as a franchise trilogy but it surely isn't good for an actor for it doesnt give them the exposure thta they want and it would only help her land roles in similar splatter movies.It wont do her any good ,mark my words |
