They continue the scene in the upstairs hallway as Taffy impersonates an escapee from rape to get inside the managers office so she can break into the back warehouse. Boyd retrieves Echo and she is wiped.
Assassin ("Man on the Street", "Vows", "The Public Eye", "Meet Jane Doe", "A Love Surpreme"):
Echo was sent by Adelle as an assassin to eliminate Paul. While Topher was in the middle of the imprint process, he stepped out. It was later revealed that someone slightly altered the imprint. While Echo and Paul were fighting, Echo stops and the slightly-altered imprint begins with explaining to Paul that someone in the Dollhouse is helping him and will report back later. In "Vows", Echo starts glitching and she returns to the imprint of the assassin which enables her to beat up Martin Klar and his thugs. In "The Public Eye" Echo returns to the imprint of the assassin so she can fight Perrin's handler. Echo is imprinted as Adelle's recently dead friend, Margaret Bashford, so she can say goodbye. Margaret tells Adelle she wants to solve her own murder. While she's trying to solve it, Margaret is saddened by how badly her family thought of her. Her son later admits that he knows it's her and he convinces her that it's her husband, Jack, that killed her, whereas it's really him by drugging the horse she uses that affects both the horse and the rider. Margaret realizes it's her son in the end and later amends her Will to fix what Jack really deserves In "Vows", Echo starts glitching and returns to the imprint of Margaret for a few seconds. As Margaret, she says "God, my head is on fire. Be a dream and bring Mommy a Vicodin" but changes to a different imprint shortly after.
Susan ("Briar Rose"):
Topher sends Echo as a child volunteer counselor with a traumatic past, Susan, to help a young girl, also named Susan, through her tough childhood. When setting up the engagement, Topher had the idea to imprint Echo with a person that is an example of what the young girl, Susan, could be if she ever moved on from her childhood. Susan visit's the young girl at her school (?) and reads the story of "Sleeping Beauty" to the class. The young girl throws a fit during the story and causes the class to end. Susan talks to the girl on her own, explaining that she went through the very same thing as a child, and that she's fine now. Susan showed the girl that there's still hope. ".
Crystal ("Briar Rose", "Omega", "Vows"):
Alpha imprints Echo as an old Whiskey imprint, Crystal, who was a nationwide thief that was in love with one of Alpha's old imprints, Bobby. Bobby and Crystal were partners in crime and love for an engagement a few years ago. Now Alpha, who contains Bobby, escapes with Crystal from the Dollhouse. Alpha takes Crystal back to his lair shortly after kidnapping a women that he imprints Caroline into. Alpha then imprinted Crystal with all of Echo's other engagements at once, similar to what happened to himself, and then have her kill her true self, Caroline, in the body of the women they kidnapped. Once all of Echo's other engagements were imprinted in her, she was no longer just Crystal, so her engagement ends here In "Vows", Echo starts glitching and returns to the imprint of Crystal for a few seconds. As Crystal she acts confused while asking for Donny but shortly moves on to a different imprint.
Russian Girl ("Epitaph One"):
Topher imprints Echo as a Russian Girl to infiltrate the Russian Mob. Not much is known about the the person Echo was imprinted as except that she couldn't speak English and had "big dreams". We only see her being imprinted and taken away by Paul, so we don't know how the engagement carries out. We also know that Echo has learned to fight the imprints at this point in the future and she has both Caroline and the Russian girl in her head at the same time which is giving her severe headaches.
Roma ("Vows"):
Paul uses Echo as an undercover agent, Rona, to put Martin Klar in jail. Klar was a criminal Paul never arrested back when he was involved with the FBI. Rona goes undercover in this long-term engagement by seducing and marrying him while reporting back to Paul every so often. While Rona investigates Klar's office, Klar discovers a photograph of Rona and Paul together. Klar assumes that Rona is working undercover with Paul, who was the FBI agent that tried to get him arrested before. When he accuses Rona of this, Rona (Echo) starts glitching. Echo starts changing into past imprints leaving Rona behind for the remainder of the engagement.
Emily Jordan ("Instinct"):
Echo is imprinted as Emily Jordan to act as a mother for a baby who lost his actual mother during the birth. The father, Nate, made the decision to make Emily (Echo) think it was actually hers so the baby could have a maternal bond with her. Due to complications involving Emily finding pictures of the actual mother, Nate calls Adelle and tells her he wants to get rid of her. When Emily overhears, she thinks that Nate was trying to kill her so she prepares an escape. Paul arrives and tries to retrieve Emily but before he finds her, she has left. Emily reports what has happened to the police, but Paul and Nate show up and explain what has actually happened. Emily is stripped of her child and she's forced back to the Dollhouse for a treatment. Even though Echo returns for the baby, she's not Emily anymore. She's just an active with maternal instinct still inside.
Kiki Turner ("Belle Chose"):
Echo was imprinted as college student Kiki Turner for a professor who wanted to have sex with her as his student. She attended his class and shortly after visited his home office for extra help. While there, Kiki enjoyed herself while the professor slowly seduced her. After awhile, they stood up and started dancing with each other. When they were about to pursue each other further, Topher was trying to give Victor a remote-wipe on an engagement gone wrong which didn't work and ultimately switched Echo and Victor's imprints. Echo became Victor's and Victor became Kiki.
Terry Karrens ("Belle Chose"):
During Echo's engagement as Kiki, Topher accidently switched Victor and Echo's engagements remotely which made Echo becoming the serial killer, Terry. Before leaving Echo's engagement as Kiki, Terry killed the professor she was with. Terry then heads back to where he/she locked up the kidnapped women. Terry starts shouting at them loudly while they lay on the ground clearly frightened. During Terry's rant, Echo slowly emerges from within and fights for control of the body. When Echo's in control she tells the women to kill her so Terry doesn't come back. Paul arrives and retrieves Echo before anything else happens.
Persuader ("Belonging"):
Echo is seen on an engagement in a flashback as part of Nolan's scheme to make Priya (Sierra's original persona) fall in love with him. Echo's job was to persuade Priya that she should "stick with Nolan". This ultimately didn't work and his plan failed.
Bree ("The Public Eye"):
Echo is imprinted as a hooker named Bree when United States Senator Perrin was about to publicly reveal evidence of the LA Dollhouse. Bree's job was to wake Perrin from his sleep and give him a message from Rossum: "Back off". The senator deduces that Bree is actually a doll and he takes her to his safe house where his wife is. Paul arrives around the same time to take Madeline Costley (previously November) back to the Dollhouse and stop her from prosecuting in the senators case. Paul uses an electronic device called the Disrupter, made by Topher, that knocks out any doll in a 50 foot radius. When he uses it, Madeline is knocked out. Outside the house, Perrin and Bree both are hurt by the device's frequency but they were too far away to be knocked out. Senator Perrin is revealed to be a doll. Bree realizes that she actually is a doll when more and more imprints flood into her brain as an abnormal side-effect of the device Paul used. Once all the imprints entered her brain, Bree was pushed to the back with the rest of the imprints. Composite-Echo was in control.
Jane ("Meet Jane Doe")
While on the run from the Dollhouse, Echo activates a past imprint of herself, Jane, so she can disguise herself as a nurse in an attempt to help a poor young woman escape from a jail that she was placed in unfairly. While she helps out in the jail's infirmary, Galena, the young woman Echo wanted to save, came in. Jane speaks to her in Spanish telling her that everything is ok and she'll be able to get her out when she comes back. Echo returns the next day as Jane, and informs Galena that she is going to inject a drug into her that will make her appear dead so they can sneak out of the jail infirmary. Once Galena passes out, the Sheriff orders Jane to dumb the body. Jane is almost out with Galena when she awakes from her fake death and scares the guards. Echo abandons the Jane imprint so she can access Taffy's and the assassin's to get them out safely.
NOVEMBER
Mellie ("The Target", "Stage Fright", "True Believer", "Man on the Street", "Echoes", "A Spy in the House of Love", "Haunted", "Briar Rose", "Getting Closer")
Mellie is November's long-term engagement. Mellie's main purpose is to serve as a spy on Paul for the Dollhouse unbeknown to her. Mellie starts off as Paul's neighbor who has an obvious crush on him. Paul eventually starts liking her and even tells her about the Dollhouse case many times. Mellie shows obvious jealously whenever the topic of "Caroline" comes up. In "Man on the Street", they share a kiss which leads to sex. When Paul is secretly conversing with an "inside man" within the Dollhouse, using Echo, he realizes Mellie might be in danger. November is a sleeper active, and can be activated as an assassin at any time while being Mellie. Unbeknown to Paul, this is what happened seconds before he burst open into his house to discover the potential-killer dead and Mellie, upset. Later, the "inside man" shocks Paul by communicating through Mellie, revealing to him that Mellie is, in fact, an active. Even though Paul knows this, he still continues to have a sexual relationship with her. In "Briar Rose", Paul breaks up with Mellie. Adelle imprints November as Mellie in "Getting Closer" because Paul wanted her to go with them to take down Rossum and they needed November to be someone that trusts Paul with her life. Mellie was the likely candidate.

When Paul goes to investigate these people, we discover it was just a set up to get Paul killed. In "Grey Hour" we see Lubov pleading for Paul's help to 'disappear'. Around six months later in "Stop-Loss", Adelle is seen sleeping with Victor as Roger again. He breaks up with her saying he's in love with another. Drew Chilton ("Haunted"):
Boyd sends Victor in the form of a horse breeder, Drew, to inspect the horses and the stable at a dead woman's estate where Echo is currently doing an engagement there, solving the woman's murder. Drew is pondering over whether or not to buy the horses from the dead woman, Margaret, through her husband, Jack, who wants nothing to do with them since Margaret's death. Drew later confronts Jack that the horse he was interested in purchasing was injected with a drug that was fatal to the horse and anyone riding it.
Laurence Dominic ("Briar Rose"):
Adelle instructs Topher to imprint Victor as former head of security, Laurence Dominic, to find out how to access the USB drive that was recently sent to him. Laurence panics when he realizes he's in Victor, and Claire sedates him. He later tells Adelle that the password is, in Greek, "Alpha"

Victor then gets called in for a treatment because Nolan's plan failed.
Topher Brink ("The Left Hand")[/u]
Topher copies himself into Victor before he leaves for his trip to the Washington D.C. Dollhouse. Susan visit's the young girl at her school (?) and reads the story of "Sleeping Beauty" to the class. The young girl throws a fit during the story and causes the class to end. Jane speaks to her in Spanish telling her that everything is ok and she'll be able to get her out when she comes back. Echo returns the next day as Jane, and informs Galena that she is going to inject a drug into her that will make her appear dead so they can sneak out of the jail infirmary.
