David Tennant - sexiest man alive: FACT. Hugh Jackman. Eric Dane Russell Tovey. Maybe not conventionally hot but I have such a crush on him. Jamie Madrox. Ok, so he's not techincally "real" but that doesn't make him any less sexy!

Enjoy my strange and diverse taste. Quite honestly... they're all white... so maybe diverse is a tricky word.

The pictures themselves are diverse though, spanning decades and personas.
OT question of thinky thoughts: Is the diversity of a person only determined by basis of race/heritage?

Well, I have people who span from the 18th century to current, with an average age (minus the outlier) of about 50-something. LMAO.
Okay. If you want to complain about the whiteness of my choices (hey, I admit to it--white males that are decades outside of my age-range do comprise the majority)... at least give me points for having the wide age-span. LOL. Quite a few are also dead.
How more diverse can you get than a list that includes a guy with no lower body, for crying out loud! While my list lacks in racial and gender diversity (on the latter--I identify very strongly as straight--I like men quite a bit!), it makes up for in sometimes unconventional (for my age usually) or atypical selections mixed in with a few of the more current heartthrobs.
As for racial diversity... Well... Desi is there (and he really wasn't as pale as he looked in B&W, despite being a white Hispanic). Elvis was 1/8 Cherokee (his great-grandmother was named Morning Dove). Depp also has some Cherokee in him.
As I've joked before, I can look up a lot of my crushes on FindAGrave.com (and have).
It happens when you listen to a lot of 200 or 30-to-50-year-old music and watch a lot of '30s, '70s and '80s movies.

No... but it's usually the most apparent. Hence, my musing that perhaps "diverse" is a tricky term to define. Nile: Take a joke much?

"Diverse" has nothing to do with race as far as definitions go. It just means the selections are somehow very different from each other in numerous possible ways (even what they are famous for or what eras they come from). Diversity isn't specifically race or gender. In fact, diversity could be the fact that some of the people I chose are tall, short, blonde, brunette, dead, alive, etc... So, yeah, I stand by my use of the word "diverse" as being accurately descriptive of my choices. Though, I'd say that my base attraction is to classically masculine "tall, dark and handsome" types (and I don't mind a little meat) with a significant theme of a few shorter "cute" types on the side.

Again, I repeat: Take a joke much?
EDIT: I realized that this is merely repeat, no "again" yet.

I just find it funny how we tend to take a word and politically correct (it's a verb now!) it to the point that it only brings to mind the PC definition. When I read Nile's statement above, I just thought diverse = varied, eclectic. Nile, I'm a big lover of old movies too. I'd include Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart on my list of star crushes who are long gone.

Clark Gable, Christopher Plummer (in The Sound of Music) and Vincent Price have always appealed to me.
And I can't believe I didn't include a picture: Ricky Nelson!!!
