From what I've heard of "Happy Town" it's... not very good, and might go down the drain quickly. Her contract wouldn't preclude her from guest-starring on other shows, would it? I think those kinds of exclusive contracts haven't been around for a while... actors gotta work! They may be looking to clear some space in the budget to bring Summer Glau on board. If Amy, Miracle Laurie and Reed Diamond are all going to be reduced to occasional roles, that might free up enough money. Actually, I think it's highly unlikely that Miracle and Reed pop up at all. Laurence is in "the attic". And November's not a doll anymore. Although, I could see a November's-back-somehow episode as her real self. Anyway, if all things work out good I see Amy and Summer as the recurring people. |

I think she will be almost the center of season two. She is way to interesting to put to the side for another season.

This is kind of interesting actually. I was watching AtS episode Damage earlier today. Team Angel's discussing where the slayer Dana ran off to. It's supposed to be someplace, a factory perhaps, that smells sweet like molasses. All of the sudden Fred says, "Whiskey." That kind of threw me for a loop. I wonder how many of these things are coincidences? Knowing Whedon, it probably wasn't a coincidence, but wow, how random!

That's probably just a coincidence. I don't think Joss would reference one small throwaway line from a random episode of Angel.
Anyway...for me Season 2 would be a let down if we didn't learn more about Whiskey and see the character come to terms with her doll status. Amy Acker is just so awesome and I hope she can return for more than just a handful of guest spots.

Well it was confirmed at SDCC that Amy will be in only 3 episodes of the first 13 episodes. Let's hope the back 9 get picked up so she can be in all those  . |

Hmm, another thread I thought I posted in already. Is the board eating my posts?  Anyways, I do hope Amy returns to season 2. It just wouldn't be the same without Dr. Claire Saunders/Whiskey. And I am dying to know more about Whiskey! |

Totally agree! Was a big twist at the end so they have to follow it up! Plus Amy Acker is a genius!!!!! Totally agree that she needs to be back, but I saw the fact that she was a Doll coming. I'm not sure why, but I was able to finger it out with Victor and Mellie too. However, her connection with Alpha was a bit of a shock to me. Whiskey needs to come back! |

I hope her episode order is that she's in it for episodes 1 & 2, and then something huge happens to her that makes her leave and she doesn't return till 13. That would work.. even though I will miss her dearly. I don't however want her 3 episodes to be spread out. For example: Episode 1, 6, and 13. We would be going months without seeing the doctor in the Dollhouse where she would obviously be needed more than just monthly.

That better not be it because that's saying that Saunders doesn't come back till after Caroline leaves the Dollhouse for good. If we ever get to the point where Paul and Caroline go out into the apocalypse and leave the Dollhouse then that wouldn't happen until season 5ish... I can't be without Whiskey for 3 seasons! |

I just hope they don't have Saunders hanging around the Dollhouse unseen. I want her to leave for whatever reason, and then return. It just wouldn't make sense to have her hiding about. Curses, why did Amy have to go out for Happy Town!? lol. I still love her bunches, though. <3
