I've seen it out there that Dollhouse starts June 9th in Australia, so it would seem wierd to show the episode 1st. Am I wrong about that? Can any Australians confirm?

Dollhouse premieres June 9th on FOX8, we won't see "Epitaph One" for at least three months. The DVD will be out by then, so we're not that lucky.  |

I think Fox actually contacted that site and told them that was wrong. I don't think it airs then.

Considering how late Dollhouse began to air outside of the US compounded with the fact that it will be coming out on DVD before Epitaph One has a chance to air in Australia and the UK (that is, if they air it after Omega), I'd consider myself pretty lucky because we'll still see it first  |

here is something i found arond the nets
[This is not actually the 13th episode of season one. It is a stand alone episode filmed to fulfill the DVD obligation of 13 episodes after having scrapped the original pilot. The original pilot plus twelve more episodes made up the season's thirteen episodes. The original pilot was cannibalized leaving only twelve episodes in season one. However, the DVD obligation calls for thirteen episodes, so they made a stand alone episode simply to fill in the spot for a thirteenth episode on the DVD set. It was NEVER intended to be the finale nor was it ever intended to be aired. "Omega" was ALWAYS the original finale. ]

Well, technically it is the last episode of season one, but it isn't the finale. It is functionally in limbo between Season One and Season Two, but will be released in the Season One DVD/Blu Ray Sets.

Yeah I think you read the article wrong  It meant that Dollhouse was starting on June 9th in Australia, not that Epitaph One was airing then. That bit on the second paragraph was related to it apparently airing in the US now. I watched it on June 9th it was just the premier (I’ve seen all of Dollhouse anyway but I still watched it anyway) I’m not sure if we’ll get Epitaph One. I think we probably will as Sweden and the UK apparently are as well. As others have said though, by then the DVD’s would have come out anyway. It’ll be all over the internet probably the day after ComicCon. |
