Holy crap! The likeness isn't amazing, but that doesn't really matter because everything else is incredible. Definately one of my favorites of the series.

Ooh. Tentacles.
I'm looking forward to getting to issue 17 and then being able to sit down and read them all in a row. I have a feeling I'll get a lot more out of it as I've been finding such an intense arc rather disjointed reading an issue at a time. Issue 17 feels so close now too. 'Citin'.

Brian, feel free to fill up the space with jokes and what not. Or maybe a haiku. A haiku would work for the 10 word minimum. Oy! After the Fall, Three issues left - damn it all, Brings on Aftermath

Emmie lol at the Haiku poem and Brian for the random Bumblebees in your posts today. Buffy: Maybe I could try those poems that sound like a sneeze Nice little update and I wonder how the fans will take to having Franco back. I'm happy with it, his work does grow on you but there was a few people who were put off by his work. Stephen Mooney was on top form with his issues.

i can't find any info on IDW (then againi'm terrible at navigating that site) but wikipedia says it isn't due while Dember 31st. Nooo! *achem* i know it's not going to be as late as that, ATF is always early, but in these post-TOYL-Part 4-delay-times can i stop myself from panicing? probably. its not going to be fun waiting for these final issues. x

We haven't heard anything about a delay, so until we do we should just assume the issue is on track for a mid-December release.

I think Connor is going to die (especially now that we like him) and I think that's what drives Angel over the edge to "destroy all that is good." I think his death will somehow be caused by human hands, making Angel blame humanity itself. We've seen how crazy Angel can get over Connor (season 3, trying to kill Wesley). Maybe he asks Wolfram and Hart to make him a vampire again so he can have the power to take his revenge. That's what I think happens according to the VISION Wesley gave Angel.
There's just one problem: Illyria.
The Senior Partners were not expecting her to show up in the middle of all this, especially not in her true form. The preview page showing Angel walking around in the field of bodies? Timeslip. Albeit an extended one. Angel will learn why he helps evil win and will be forced to make a decision on whether or not to act on his rage over Connor's death.
No idea where it could go from there, but that's my theory.

I really hope that Connor doesn't die... No more 'killings off' please ... if they have to kill off anyone kill Illyria (and bring back Fred) and kill Gunn then.

I'd rather have Illyria back than Fred tbh. (Ten) I don't know who I'd rather have. Illyria or Fred is a hard decision to make. Winifred is like Buffy's Tara. Both sweet and innocent, except for Fred's soul being destroyed. And as for Illyria, I don't think she'll be coming back from her 'true form'. You know? Its so sad. Brian, you make me so sad! Your writing is so good that I'm still in a huge emotional pickle. You've made Illyria's character much more... more... human? Is that the right word to use? Or at least have more human qualities. I rather rip my own heart out than go through this dilemma. I’m scared on how After The Fall will end, so many great characters. And make Gunn SUFFER! Brian Lynch is a genius! (Sorry that I kept going off topic in this post!)

I think we will either get Fred or Wesley back, but definitely not both.

^ I think if it's between them Wesley would be the one. He suffers, the poor guy; and I'm not sure "Angel" could really continue without him. My preference is to have them both rest in peace. The happy ending in Angel is to be dead, and therefore done. It's my ideal bittersweet ending for Wes, to finally be with Fred. Crazy to think that by the end of this series Cordy, Doyle, Wes, Fred and Gunn may well all be goners.

Yeah, It is hard for me (and I am sure others) to rewatch the series knowing that they ALL just about die ....
