The Scythe seen in Season 7. For something so old...it looked very futuristic. Red plastic and super shiney silver. It does look modern, doesn't it? But I doubt it's actually plastic, maybe some sort of red magical strengthened metal. It might even be made of otherworthly materials.

It's interesting ... the first time I watched Season 7, I actually didn't notice that the "power shot" was of The First. So for a while, it was actually my favorite of the power shots, because of the calm confidence SMG exuded. But then when I started a thread asking about people's favorite power shots, somebody pointed out that the Season 7 power shot wasn't actually Buffy. That gave the S3-5 "Anne" shot the edge again.

I didn't like that they transfered Spike into the Angel series. I rewatched season 5 again and it seems to me that they only had placed Spike into that show was because he was a fan favorite. The one episode in season 1 was ok, but it just ruined it for me when they placed him in season 5. Now whenever I think of Spike, I think of him fitting into the Angel series instead of the Buffy series (which is where he really belongs). I think it's going to change with the new Spike series coming out.
Something else that bothered me was Adam. I mean him being part machine, I mean it's new but really stupid.

I just watched "A Hole in the World" last night (I know this is the BtVS subforum, but bear with me a sec) and was reminded again how lame the reveal is of Knox as the baddie: "I don't just love Fred--I practically worship it." C'mon, nobody is going to make that slip. It just has "We've got a real limited amount of time to pack all this story into and we've gotta get this reveal out there somehow" written all over it. "The Killer in Me" has the same kinda deal. Amy letting on that she knew Kennedy was a potential just shouldn't be enough to tip Kennedy to the fact that Amy was the one behind the spell. All she had to say when asked, "How did you know I was a potential?" was "I'm a witch--I can just sense it," and that probably would've been enough to kill her rising suspicions right there. But maybe you can just 'splain it away by saying that Amy apparently doesn't think on her feet very well...

^^I never understood that in any show. Why do you have to add "as ______" after the actor? We know who they're playing, and why put that after one actor rather than all or none of them? >.<

I never understood that! I mean, they put it as the second most important character(or so I've heard, just as Giles was) but they never put the most important character(SMG)?
meh.

The Giles thing didn't make much sense, but it really bugged me when he moved on and they bumped Aly down the credits to fill his space.
It bugged me when they moved Alexis as well. I guess I just hate them changing the order lol

How, exactly, does Amy knowing Kennedy is a potential give something away? And for that matter, how did Amy's nefarious deeds lead to her knowing Kennedy's identity?

I guess I just hate them changing the order lol It's their cheap variety, I suppose. I like it in a certain order, as well. You're not alone.

One thing that bothered me in the series was that some of potentials were missing from episodes. That really bugged me and the fact that they address their fate in somewhere else besides the show.
Chloe was missing in "Potential" and wasn't even mentioned. However, one could argue she traveled to Shanghai with Giles to pick up Chao-Ahn.
Chao-Ahn, Caridad, and Colleen were missing entirely from the episode "Chosen". The Asian slayer that was killed in the Hellmouth was definitely not Chao-Ahn and the other Asian slayer on the bus (the one Xander is tending to) isn't Chao-Ahn either because in the episode "Get It Done" when Buffy comes into the living room after getting rid of Chloe's corpse, there's the same Asian girl standing by the doorway, you even get a close up of her face when Buffy comes in and Chao-Ahn is sitting on the sofa.

I guess I just hate them changing the order lol I loved seeing Willow in that slot. I thought it was a fitting acknowledgment of what her character had grown into. Of course, it might just have been that the studio wanted to draw more attention to Alyson Hannigan because of her rising star power...

Here's one:
In "Surprise," Buffy says:
"What if Drusilla is alive? We never saw her body."
But Drusilla's a vamp, so even if she were dead, there wouldn't be a body.
Unless Buffy's just using "her body" as a much more convenient shorthand for "a pile of Drusilla-shaped ashes," which I suppose is possible...

Never seeing Xander and Cordy together again after BTVS season 3. It's not fair. I really miss them. It's getting pathetic.

See, this Kennedy thing bothers me. It seems like people just hate her because everybody else does. "Uber bitch who was full of herself" is an extremely blinkered view of the character; she was confidant, strong, and assertive. Those are positive character traits. Just because she wasn't a meek and submissive like Tara doesn't make her a "bitch". This is supposed to be a show about female empowerment, yes? Kennedy embodies that. I've yet to hear a single good reason to dislike her. So say we all.

It always bugged me that how out of all the Scoobies Cordy kept in touch with, she kept in touch with Willow. I mean, what? Just no. It should've been Xander.
