Hey gang! I just recently bought a Nintendo Wii to add to my ever expanding console collection. So far I have every major system released in the U.S aside from the Sega Saturn and the Sega handheld. So that means I have: Nintendo NES Super Nintendo Sega Genesis Gameboy (Original, Pocket, Color, Advance, SP, DS, DS Lite) Playstations 1,2 and 3 Gamecube Sega Dreamcast (LOVE!!) Nintendo Wii Xbox and 360 So much right? Anyway discussion of video games and such can take place in this thread!  I really want to buy Super Paper Mario, Zelda: Twilight Princess and Mario Party 8 next week!! I am so obsessed with creating Miis. I made Buffy ones too I will see if I can get a screen cap of them they are sooo cute!! |

I'm more of a PlayStation 2 fan myself. Haven't gotten around to getting a PS3 but I do have an XBOX 360 that I hardly never play..lol.
Here's what I have:

I got Zelda for Gamecube for Christmas last year, you'd love it Phil. I had hours of enjoyment playing it. Have you played regular Paper Mario on GC?

Yeah I have Zelda Wind Waker. It's a great game IMO! Some didn't like the style of the game, but it grew on me.
I can't wait for the sequel to Smash Bros as well!!

I LOVE My Wii, I think it is the greatest thing EVER!!!! I hate sports...but I love playing them on the Wii! I never thought I would enjoy playing sports in a video game format. Zelda also rocks!!!!

if I had the money I would have a nintendo wii...they look amazing.
I own a gamecube and ps2 and gamecube is TONS better!
Resident evil 4 was as close as gaming can come to a religious experience quite frankly...I swear that game was created in heaven and sent down to us by god....amazing game. My favourite game of all time.
Also zelda wind waker/metriod prime/smashbros/tomb raider legend (although I own this on the ps2)/resident evil remake and zero....all fantastic games and theres more that Iv just forgotten about.
metroid prime was such a well crafted game....so atmospheric and involving...and zelda was pure gaming goodness.lol. i loved the quirky style...and the storyline was cool. I loved the idea that hyrule had been washed up and sunken under the sea and by the end of the game you got to go down to it.....so f**king cool.
I have yet to buy twilight princess....I would have bought it ages ago for the gamecube but Im still determined to get a wii eventually so Id prefer to own it on there....also tomb raider anniversary is coming to the wii....how bloody awesome will that be. tomb raider 1 was the first game that really sucked be into gaming so I cant wait for the remake and I have been a lara croft obsessive ever since the first game was released.

I just bought Twilight Princess a few days ago. I've been playing whenever I'm home non-stop! It's a great game! I love the Zelda franchise. It's never disappointed me yet.

I'm a big ol Nintendo nerd! I bought the Wii entirely with my own money (it was a huge saving up thing and I was like, 14 so its a big deal to me) but I only have like, four games and it is really a bummer. I'm going to Game Stop today to buy some new ones though.

No "other" choice? I didn't vote for any of those. I still rock my NES and N64. Bright, colorful games, simple controllers, and no one trying to make me exercise while I play. Now THAT's a console I play Xbox 360, Wii, and PS3 often but I do not like the games on those systems enough to purchase those consoles. That, and I'm embarrassingly poor. |

and we used to have a Sega Genesis, but my cousin stole it.
I voted for Sega though, because I miss it a lot. I love all those old school games.
My second choice would be Gamecube though. I love Harvest Moon.
Of course, now Wii is getting cooler, because it's getting all the awesome mario games on it.

As for my favorite console, it has to be the PS3. There have just been so many great games for it in the past 2 years (exclusives and multi-platform), that'd I'd be silly not to pick it.
I still love to play the SNES and N64 though, there are just so many great games for them.

I got the Nintendo Wii for christmas and love it, although I injured myself when playing Wii sports, what the heck do you do it you have to go to the doctor with a sport related injury from an nintendo Wii, do you say you did it while playing "tennis"?  |
