i always wondered this, is andrew gay? bc in season 6 (entropy) he says "spike is SO cool.........i mean the girl's hot too...." & it seemed like he had a crush on spike in s7......just am curious.  |

It was being hinted at, I think. Remember in Storyteller he makes the comment about Jonathan being "the cutest little thing"? It's generally implied that he is gay. I don't think there was ever any official word though.

i think so. He was in love with Warren, we must not forget. And his scene in Storyteller when he's going over that tape of Xander and Anya while mouthing Anya's lines to Xander.

Ya know, I have always wondered the same thing. There is also that scene in Buffy season 8 where Andrew is surrounded by a bunch scantily clad slayers and he claims to be "bored." So, that also lends credence to the Andrew is gay theory. In season 7 he does tell Anya that she is "the perfect woman," but I don't think he was ever sexually attracted to her in any way... I too picked up on the crushing on Spike vibe of Season 7. Gay, straight, Bi, whatever, I still love Andrew.  |

He also crushes on Scott Bakula in one episode. I think the suggestion is clearly there, but reading Joss' comments, I would argue that "complete lack of awareness about, among other things, his own sexuality" seems to fit better.

I always thought he was bisexual while leaning towards men. I figured he was either a 4 or 5 on the Kinsey scale.

I always thought of him as gay.
Most of his comments about Warren seemed like he was really into him and stuff, and he believed Warren felt the same way. Aww.
I think it's cute, and I always did wonder.
I love this line, when they're in jail. It really sounds like he's gay..
"How could he do this to me? He promised we'd be together but he was just using me. He never really loved... Hanging out with us.."

Not even one second did I ever wonder whether Andrew was gay or not. They made it pretty clear from the start. I don't think it was even implied in a subtle manner. It was written all over his face. That's what made his character so funny actually, because the subject was never directly touched on.

I love Andrew. He always has a way of looking at things that just brightens them up. He uses his imagination to make life more interesting for him. It's like he's taken the part of childhood that's so easy to forget and brought it into his adult life. After he seriously committed himself to the scoobies in season 7 I wished they had been nicer to him. His enthusiasm was so cute.

If I remember correctly some time in Season 6, didn't he wear a sweater with sun flowers on it....that is an indicator he's gay if I ever saw one
