Hulu now has some cool clips of the motion comic up. No full eps but it kinda looks like there might be some there before long.
On the dvd release. Alot of places have a price of $31.50. Not so keen on that. Especially since for the last few years a season set of Buffy has been $15-$20. Thinking I'm gonna wait for these to be put up on the internet for free or wait til the price gets lower.

Well the reason the Buffy sets have been generally so cheap (and that's not even everywhere...A lot of places still sell them for $30) is because they are a lot older. This is a new product.

Plus, bluray, which is always more expensive.

I'm really confused as to why they're only selling a combo-blu-ray/DVD set. Why not sell them separately?

I'm not one of those people, but it seems really crappy that they're being forced to pay for something they don't want.

My thing on the price is...
Its not like this is an actual show. In fact it was made super cheap. So to charge $30 for a cheaply produced non-show just seems like price gauging. The $25 amazon had it at for awhile was a reasonable price to me.

Okay... I don't know if I'm in the minority here, but I am really enjoying these motion comics. Obviously it's not the actual show, but there's still some nice entertainment value in them.
That being said, I want to know if/when they will be continuing past issue 19!! We only have 2 more issues left... I REALLY want them to do the whole season, as well as the Willow and Riley one-shots. Has anyone managed to find any info on this? I've looked around, but they only ever mention the first 19 issues. There was an interview on Buffyfest, I think with Scott Allie, where he said he wasn't involved in it but he thought the intent was to do the whole season. Anyone? I would love to have it all in motion!

I too like it.
Same here!! Been cheching all over cause, it's Buffy so of course i have to have it. And it would just be stupid if they didn't make the whole season into motion comics.

Well the final one is up. Time of Your Life pt 4. Good new though. It seems the dvd/blu-ray pack has been price reduced from $31.50 to $23. If it stays there, this will once again be a buy on sight purchase come January.
Not sure about getting the other issues in this format though. In one of the interviews, the guy thats making these said he's not involved if they are. Of coarse Fox might be waiting for the comic book to end and to see how well the dvd sells before commiting to more.
