Thanks for posting. Too early to be certain, but I'd rather them use Runge's cover for #22 as the HC cover instead of this one.

I'd much rather they use the one they have, Runge's #19. I think it would be really weird if they used the only non-painted one. It really wouldn't vibe with any of the previous hardcovers.

Well, I won't be buying that. The whole arc was disappointing and useless to the series. Although I do love Runge's work...

Can someone tell me if there's a fanletter-section in the end of the single issues? I usually enjoy reading the letters(the angel comics don't have them as often as the Buffy comics tough) so if there's letters in these Aftermath comics, I want the singles. otherwise I'll wait for the HC.

I agree, Ben, the story line in this arc was so pointless, and dumb! I read the first couple issues, and couldn't manage to finish the arc it was so bad. I really hope the next arc will revive this story.

Nope, no fan letters.

So is that the official cover then? Hmm, really the only thing I liked about Aftermath was the covers and this was not even in the top few. I really liked #22's cover. I suppose I still pick this up seen as it is a follow up to ATF but I am pretty meh on the whole arc, only read the first issue from kelly armstrong and it wasn't really for me but I always said I'd pick up the trade to give it a quick read. Oh, it will be a quick read all right, as in you'll read the first two issues, and never touch it again. lol. I still have my hatred for this arc in me. ;D

I may or may not buy this Hardcover. I am a bit of a completist so if this arc *does* count for something then I will get it....but if not then I wont bother. Just forget all about it!

This should be arriving next week, according to IDW Newsletter. I'm sure I'll be a sucker and pick it up, for completeness' sake.

I still think more people should give this a chance. ITs fine if they dont wanna consider it canon but its a cool what if scenario for the events right after the fall, and the shoehorning of the powers and dez was kinda lame but if the story progressed further rather than leaving it all cliffnotey it wouldve been slightly redeemed.

There's no way to redeem this, except to ignore it completely. Or if it can't be ignored, just have it written as a dream, cuz then it would explain the whole arc and why everything is so completely off and lame. Just say that Spike mixed Angel's blood with vodka and Angel ended up dreaming Aftermath as a result

I picked mine up today, it looked nice, I had some lunch at McDonald because I couldn’t wait to get home and read it, lucky because it looks like a total recall.... they all had blue stains on the pages from the book mark, I when to two comic book stores, and they had same problem (I passed going to two others because they all would have been the same.) I hope they sent out replacements, would this effect the sales in the end?
