so if After the fall is transforming into Aftermath, not stopping it and creating a new... whatever the comic equivalent of a season... is, then if aftermath isn't canonical, then the arguement could be made that after the fall isn't either. but i guess we'll find out more when it comes out! No, snizapman. That argument could not be made. |

I'm waiting to hear this too, but I'm going to read Aftermath regardless. I asked Kelley this: Enisy: Did Joss have a look at your outline of Angel: Aftermath and/or contribute any ideas? Some people seem to be curious about the extent of his involvement. And she responded with: Kelley Armstrong: I'd love to say I'm in direct contact with him (that'd be reason enough just to take the job  ) but he's one very in-demand guy. What I've been told is that he's aware of and approves of the storyline and the direction the comics are going. Which is still kinda vague, but as good as we're gonna get, from what I perceive. Seems decent to me. I'ts not as heavy as with ATF, but if Joss approves it and the direction it's taking things then I see no reason to disregard it. |

Oh. My. God. Only three words. Three. Words. I am chocked and absolutely delighted. Phil's a bad boy. A baaad boy. An administrative decision has been made and, effective immediately, the word count regulation has been lifted. It should be noted, however, that Phil is putting the question of canon to bed. Kelley Armstrong's answer about whether Aftermath will "count" or not has been picked apart and over analyzed. Consider Phil's response the final answer to this question for now.
