After the Fall; Character Updates (MAJOR SPOLIERS)

Do you think that we can have a thread that explains want has happened so far to each of the characters in Angel: After the fell? like if they are dead/alive, how many comics they are in... ect... (I only have the 1st TPB and I can’t wait to read the rest to find out ...)

(MAJOR SPOILERS) Feel free to add or correct this but as far as I know:

Angel :
Has been human since hell was sent to LA. He has now faced off against Gunn and lost Marjory, he reversed all the spells that he has used to heal himself whilst he's been human. He is now dying and during this he gets a death walk with Cordelia, Spike comes into Gunn's hideout hotel and reveals that there may be a way to save Angel....something to do with the Hotel.

Cordelia:
Has tried to help from beyond the Powers that Be but whatever is keeping LA attached to hell is to strong for her to come through. We finally do see her in a death walk with Angel and she helps him back a realises that LA needs their Champion back.

Connor:
Is stable, funny and has kicked Gunn's ass (out of a window). H e was in a relationship with Gwen and they had a can't touch the one you love because of the electricity thing. BUT Gwen betrays them all on Gunns orders and promise that he can help her touch and feel again.

Fred :
Is completely gone. There is no Fred (see Spike ATF) although Illyria looking as Fred has just been shot by Gunn, can she die as looking like Fred in human form???

Gunn :
Was sired in the alley fight and has brutally killed Angel. He was about to finish him off but Connor kicked his ass. He saw Illyira/Fred broke down into tears as none of what he was told through visions is working out he then shoots Fred/Illyria.

Harmony :
Has not been in After The Fall although we know she got out of LA as she is set to appear in Buffy season 8 issue 22, so hopefully we'll get some answers then

Illyria :
Is very, very unstable. Hell A is really affecting her power and seems to be dipping into Fred a lot more.

Lorne:
Has gotten over the whole killing Lindsey thing and is now the leader of a Sanctuary in Hell A.

Spike :
Has been like a uncle to Connor and has been looking after Illyria/Fred he has also been fighting and defending LA along with the rest of Team Angel

Wesley :
Is back and is the last representative to LA's Wolfram and Hart. He is being held by his contract under the Senior Partner's watch. He is helping Angel but has to be careful as seen in an earlier issue when he is tortured in the white room for helping.

Kate:
Is somehow back and saved Connor from a group of demons. She also helped him over come his VERY annoying first dad, second dad and third dad thing. Those being. Holtz, Angel and his adoptive dad. She has not been seen since her 4-5 page in the one issue. She must be in Hell A somewhere though...

Gwen:
Is now dead she sacrificed herself to bring down the hundreds of dragons that were swarming the sky. She fried herself doing it and this I supposed is meant to redeem her for her betrayal.

Groosalugg:
Is somehow back and is back to his old Pylean ways. He is very much the same and helps Lorne out in the Sanctuary to keep it safe.

Nina:
To be honest has been a waist of a character in After The Fall, she hasn't done anything which is a shame because I really liked the whole sun and moon being out at the same time as it effected Werewolf's but she has remained a back, back, BACK ground character

Wolfram & Hart
Is still around and Wes is in charge of the ruined LA branch. We haven't seen the Senior Partners but they are in the white room keeping an eyes on things

Again feel free to correct anything. This was all off the top of my head so if I've forgotten anything I'm sorry. Hope this has helped though

WTF, Fred dead again.... I really want her back alive and the same with Wesley!

I don't know if Cordelia will be back (oh sidenote the dragon from the alley was slso called Cordelia. Angel spent a few weeks deluded and screaming Cordy's name, the drrgon was near by the whole time and assumed that was it's name) Anyhoo Cordy won't be back in real time but maybe in a dream or in more of Angel's death walk thing. Fred is not dead again. We find out in Spike After The Fall that she has always been dead, all the times that we've seen Illyria as Fred it has always just been Illyria ACTING like her it has never been Fred. This was a huge shock to me but it adds tons of charatcer to Illyria for the way she was acting.

Yeah, I hate Illyria.... put her into Nina or Kate or someone and bring back Fred... I thought that was what JW was going to do with Angel season 6 (TV) anyway... booo

No in the TV season six if it ever did happen. Wesley was going to develop feelings for Illyria as she was the only thing left of Fred, not sure how far this was going to be explored, it would have been very interesting. Anyway Wes was going to have feelings for Illyria but he obviously still loved Fred. Team Angel eventually find away to bring back Fred as the Doctor who said her soul was destroyed lied to bring forth and keep Illyria, the team leave the choice to being Fred back in the hands of Wesley, but remember he now has feelings for Illyria too. The story would have been who would he have chosen and hwo their relatioships would have all changed after this. Obviously becasue After The Fall is not exactley season six none of this has happened btu when the show got canceled they killed of Wesley and now none of this can happen anyway seen as he is a ghost-ish LA lawyer.

+Vol.2 has issue 6-11 ?
+Vol.3 has 11-?
Does anyone know if I can see Vol.3 issues on the net ? I can't wait till I buy the TPB...

Sorry, Thorn. Discussing downloading the issues here on Slayalive is a big no-no. It's copyright infringement and muy illegal. After the Fall is only available through purchasing the comic through a local comic store or a website vendor like tfaw.com, there are no e-comic copies that are legally available.

Is there a reason you aren't able to purchase the comics? A lot of members have them shipped (some even internationally) if they don't have a local comic book store.

I didn't think that it was like the Heroes comics... (that you can read on the net... which I could never do because I like having the TPB in front of me) well as long as I have updates I can wait for the TPB (or try and read the comics in store.. :broody: )

No I want to buy the TPB's only .... I have the first 2 and I would like to have them all as a set... (I have the first 5 or 6 buffy comics and then got the next 2 TPB and I like having all the same, TPB or all the comics...)

Yes, Cowboy Guy has done an amazing job all over...

Anyway... I can't wait for Vol.3 TPB so I am going to call a few shops and see who has #9-14 in stock and there price and next year when the TPB is out I will just get it too... :heartsatsu:
