That's a really tough question. I almost want to say Season 4 because of Pangs (the funniest episode, imo), but this poll is just really hard lol.

Yeah, I went with Season 4. There was no real big heartbreaking, dramatic story like the other seasons had. Most of the standalones are comedy based, and those make up a lot of the season.

Season 4 did have a lot of hilarious episodes/moments. So if I have to choose I guess I'll go with that one.

Wow! I'm really glad so many people agree with me that 4 is the funniest. You've got Living Conditions, Pangs, Something Blue, A New Man and so many funny moments within more serious eps. It is the light-hearted season of choice, as well as being my fav in general!

I can't pick one. Every season of Buffy has its funny moments. I agree.. All seasons of Buffy has funny episodes and sad episodes. I don't think one season has more humor than the others. |

yes i too agree all seasons have funny moments. maybe you should have made a post on what is your fav funny moment of buffy. Mine would have to be Buffy-in-rewind in "Life Serial", and Willow & Anya's conversation in "Him".  |

I have to say- each season has quotes of quirk and witt. But after re-re-re-re-re-rewatching (lol how many times have i really watched that season? no one knows) season 4 recently, it has the bulk of moments where life presents funny situations and gaggles of humor. Plus who doesn't like a season full of awesome Riley bashing jokes?! heheh.

Seven 7, without a doubt. It's the season when they stopped taking themselves too seriously with the show and they introduced Andrew in the house to light up the Season. His lines cracked me up all the time, the culmination of it being Storyteller.

definitely 4. so many funny moments. sometimes when I'm down I watch some eps of season 4 to chear me up. like Pands, Something blue, Hush

Pangs, Something Blue, Restless among other episodes had alot of funny moments. Spike Xander Willow Buffy and even Giles was funny in the episode he got drunk can't remember name.

For me, the funniest season would have to be overall funny with funny stuff in almost every episode and not just one or two hysterically funny episodes. I do agree, though, that Tabula Rasa is one of the funniest in the whole series. |
