Love the banner-set you're using.
And good romance novel. A very good concept that I bet could be used by the people who publish the Buffy books.
The pic doesn't have the best quality tough. Do you know how to use the blurry tool? It can do wonders to pics, specifically the skin parts.

Thanks so much for the tip Sky! I'm definately going to try it out. Never thought to use it that way to be honest! And yeah it was a pretty bad quality pic...

And in case you have the opposite, a too blurry pic, go to filters and use the effect "colorspots"(no idea what's it's called in English, it's the third effect in the second section).
Use "simple"(the first choice in the fold-down menu), have the size on 1 and then sharpen the pic as much as you need.
Or just use the sharpeing tool.
PS. If this was info you didn't need(or if you didn't understand my directions), sorry for taking up space in your thread.

A lot of times I use the auto-sharpness tool on a duplicate layer and adjust the opacity so it matches my neurotic needs. Thanks to Xaphania for the idea, I probably never would have thought of it, but I always do it to my screencaps before I even start cropping and blending.
;D

I do use the sharpness tool already but I never thought of the second layer sharpening/opacity thing!
Thanks Bec! (and Xaphania) That works a treat!

Updated with current banner and avatar set. Oh and I know the 'date'/year thing is wrong and silly, I meant to write BC not AD, but I made it up anyway! Oh well.
